Needed a quick lunch. Ordered on the app. It was a 27 minute wait just for a 6’ sub lunch. I arrived at the restaurant at the drive through and pushed the button…and waited….and waited….pushed the button again….wait….wait…push again….after 10 minutes I parked and went inside. It was a normal busy. 2 people waiting one picking up. Lady behind the counter is taking her time. I can see my food waiting by the drive through window. After 5 minutes inside it’s finally my turn at the counter. I say may I have my pick up order please; Ive been waiting 10 minutes in the drive through. They have the nerve to ask if I rang and buzzer…aaaaa ya 3 time….she just taps her headset and said “no you didn’t “ “I would have heard it”. I would like my food please can you just get it for me? “What’s your name” “Elizabeth “…..she goes and picks up my order and stares at it a good 30 seconds and slowly approaches the counter…”could it be Beth? “ OMG…yes lady…Beth is short for Elizabeth…may I have my food please? “She rolls her eyes and scoffs at me…then as Im leaving her coworker (both women in at least their 50’s) get snarky and says “you have a really nice day, thanks for coming in…God Bless” dripping with sarcasm. Thinking she being cute and putting on a little show for the rest of the customers. This is the 3 and last time I will go to THIS subway. They are slow rude and they make the skimpiest sandwiches of any Subway I have ever eaten in. My sandwich was actually smaller then the bag of chip. Save your time money patience and stomach …go across the street...
Read moreTillamook's Subway sandwich shop has the best frontline staff I've ever seen at a Subway... Honestly! I don't know all of their names, but I'll start with Logan, Sarah, Josh and Daniel... All were happy faced and greeted ppl as they came in, eye contact, no pressure to upsell and overall just good natured well groomed young people who clearly know how important customer service is. There's a young lady who works the closing shift that is a pro at customer satisfaction, i arrived moments before closing, she never flinched or gave that look of Ugh Im Almost Closed... She smiled and assured me it was fine, she made an incredible sandwich that went with her incredible smile and greeting. The environment is always pristine, the sandwich bar is always clean, fresh looking ingredients, conscientious employees washing hands and cleaning the public areas. Tough competition in a touristy area with eateries, but, with great staff who raised the bar, it's an easy choice. Great parking, ADA compliant wheelchair ramp and seating, restroom clean and stocked with an overall feeling of a consistent scope/standard of practice that ppl want, nobody likes surprises when it comes to dining in or taking out, so, 5 Gold Stars to this Tillamook Subway...
Read moreI used to love coming to Subway until I moved back to Tillamook. My mom and I were here for lunch and not only did we notice the bread that was being served to us as having mold on it (we noticed before the gal fixing the sandwich!) but when we asked for a new bread, she pulled out the whole rack and the entire bag of "fresh" bread was molding on one whole corner! Not the only our bread to have the mold issue but others too as other racks she pulled out were just as bad...we were the only ones in there at the time but they were feeding other folks that day moldy bread and the employees didn't even notice themselves..... Another thing. I've gone into most fast food places where if women have longer hair they pull it up into a BUN or into a hairnet. These girls only have their hair in a Ponytail, in which hair can still be likely to fall out into food preparation areas. The gal making our sandwiches the time before the mold incident had her hair in a ponytail and my mom took a bite out of her sandwich and of course there were two long dark brown hairs. My mother is blonde. At least the young manager dude was able to give us a complimentary sandwich for it, but the mold incident was the last time I've eaten at...
