The Seven Sisters Martha's Vineyard — Local services in Tisbury

The darling Rachel at Bryn Walker had in a ring that caught my eye and led me to the Seven Sisters. What a delightful experience. I had the pleasure to meet Ty and the wonderful Leo, her dog. He actually “helped” me with my decision. 😂 The ring I sought was in the store and I tried it on, it fit my pinky. Ty immediately offered to get the artist on the phone and see if she’d make one to fit my chubby fingers so I could wear it on another finger. Meanwhile, my aunt spotted the most beautiful dress among a store full of unique and beautiful things. I am a plus size woman and usually assume nothing will fit. Ty (and another shopper) were super encouraging, “we don’t look at numbers”, they said! I was actually persuaded to try the dress on - Ty had told me this designer does exceptional cuts for women, and was she ever right. I wanted the dress in the beautiful raspberry color, but it wasn’t in the store. Ty got on the phone with the designer and BOOM he’s going to make mine. And because I have scars from knee replacements, Ty asked him to make mine longer. Talk about service!! Everything being done custom for me at no additional expense and it will be shipped to my home. I’m so excited because I know I will not see myself anywhere at home in either of these pieces. I loved how special Ty made me feel. The quality of the boutique’s items are incredibly beautiful and one-of-one, but I feel like that describes Ty to a T; she is incredibly beautiful and one-of-one. I feel like I made a friend.

I understand when you are helping a customer who’s making a large purchase they get priority. But the way the person working the counter spoke to people who were not her designated “Client” was unacceptable. I’ve worked luxury retail before and the people who buy your candles are just as important and the ones who drop thousands. Overall you are not finding anything artisan made here or that you can’t find in a major city. Nice designer pieces but nothing life changing. The manager may need to learn a little self regulation or breathing tips because she clearly lacks the ability to maintain professionalism while multitasking.
