Ace Hardware Garden St — Local services in Titusville

The Ace Hardware on US 1 is pretty friendly overall, helpful, and seems to appreciate veterans. I have shopped there for years. I have also shopped at the Garden Street location many times as well. At this location, I have had many employees not welcome me or ask if I need help finding something. Two weekends ago, I had 5 employees walk past me, and not 1 asked me if I needed help or even acknowledged I was breathing. I haven't had 1 cashier at this location thank me for my military service or even acknowledge it after checking my phone number. I was just in there (7/19 @ 11:30) making a purchase. The larger female cashier who has checked me out many times as well as today is about as friendly as a rattlesnake. Hey, ACE Titusville, ACE is expensive. You have nothing if you don't provide excellent customer service! Manager, If you want to discuss this, reply to this review with your first name, and I will stop by and see you. Otherwise, I'm done shopping there.

Update: 09/22/2025 I've been back to this store approximately 10 times since the post above. My complaints and comments above still stand. Still no acknowledgement of veteran status or acknowledgement of discount when providing receipt. This happens every single time. Store manager, one of the things I like least about your store is checking out. Your cashiers can make or break a bad shopping experience. Unfortunately, for me, they are usually the cause of my bad shopping experience. If they do not want to be nice and show appreciation to customers, maybe they should pick another...

I needed to buy a chicken coop and wanted one in stock. I called my Merritt Island Ace Hardware, the woman who answered the phone said, "chicken coops, we don't carry chicken coops" with an attitude, like I was crazy for asking. I called the Ace on Garden Street in Titusville. The nice young lady who answered the phone, told me that she knew they carried them, but she didn't know if there were any in stock and asked if I would mind if she got someone from off the floor to help me. Linda came to the phone, she was AMAZING! So very helpful, helped me find the ones they had in stock, I was on my laptop looking at ACE online to see what they had. One of them would not pull up on the web site and she texted me a picture of it. She was awesome, the best customer service I have ever received in a hardware store, hands down!!! Needless to say, I drove from Merritt Island to Garden St, in Titusville to buy my chicken coop!! Thank you for the great service Ace...

I can't say every time I go into this Ace hardware I have a five star review to give. But it's time I met a very good associate I was looking at a step stool and it was way way up high and he was very tall and I forget his name but what a nice gentleman. I told him I was going to go home and get my coupon that I have and he said you don't have to do that and he showed me how to download the Ace hardware app....anyways my phone that wasn't going very fast I don't know if it was because of the building ...whatever ......but I did have to leave but I will be back to get that step stool and I want to think that gentleman he was young in his late teens or up to his mid-20s he was very tall and thin and he had dark hair I wish I knew his name so I could put it on here..... I'd like management to know about him he's he's a good kid and Ace hardware should be very proud to have him working for them.. Thank you whoever you are my little knight in...
