Here is my experience From my one and only and also my last time stepping foot in this store.
Today I attended the Lorcana set championship. It was supposed to start at 11 am, and the tournament page clearly said arrive at least 60 minutes in advance so we can check in, do deck lists etc.
The owner arrived at the store at 1125 am, looking like he just rolled out of bed and barely apologized to us for making us wait some over an hour.
This entry was 25 dollars and there was 24 people (do the math). When we started, myself and another person asked what prizing would be and the owner avoided the question. Red flag one.
The owner then left; and we asked a few more times and had no issue. Finally I approached the gentleman working and he said that he had to call the owner and when he finally came back he said that the owner is putting in one box (125 in value, 100 TCG value into the pool) that’s on top of the one pack each. So prizing was $200 market value and total entry was $600. The gentleman said if I had any issues speak to the owner.
The owner arrived back and I had asked him if his employee misspoke and he made me step out side in the middle of a game and then proceeded to attempt to tear into me about how it’s he does business and whatnot. It took all I could to not laugh honestly as you could tell that he had no idea how to have any customer service or any people skills whatsoever.
I thought we had squashed everything, but after we went in this little man decided to find a microphone in a store of 20 people and proceeded to attempt to bully everyone saying that he wanted to kick us all out and we shouldn’t have input on prizing and be happy with what we got.
This was a horrible experience, and in a crowded area of many other game stores that pride themselves on developing a customer base and growing communities in that area, steer clear...

I was recently at an event at Space Coast games event; I am horrified over the owners behavior. The following review is how the owner responded to a small amount of negativity, and my recollection of the events leading up to the owners demeaning, threatening rant to the entire store.
The employee called the owner to come to the store after not understanding how prizing was going and another player commenting that the prizing value was too low for the cost payed.
The owner responded by pulling the player out of their match and taking to them outside which looked tense from my perspective.
Then the owner came in and berated all the players, threatening to kick us all out (95% had said nothing), said he couldn’t help that people weren’t good enough to get into the top 8 to earn prizing (not sure exact wording but it came off super DEGRADING and RUDE), among other rude and insulting comments.
The owner made the situation intense, and has been the discussion privately and on other forums since about the bad behavior of the OWNER that eclipsed any thing one play said or did or the 95% of the room that said and...

Reason 1 I’ll never attend your shop or support you again.
Reason 2 was calling out the top 8 participants the way you did, approaching the matter in a poor unprofessional manor. I’m not playing a kids game traveling around bullying shops for better prizing. Your poor reaction was ridiculous and your statement and threat to kick us all out was over the top.
Reason 3 was your assumed ChatGPT responses and outright lies.
Now, best of luck and next time you have a retort to a review I suggest leaving out you're a veteran owned shop response that you felt the need to include, it was obvious why you included it and though subtle shows a desperate attempt to solicit people to side with you vs the...
