This store is a great location for finding all craft supplies for sewing, knitting/crocheting, woodworking, painting, scrapbooking and more. There are also a lot of good options for decorating different rooms in your home. The quality of items, and rotating sales every other week, are the only thing that keeps me returning. They took away the coupon option but prices haven't raised so that's a plus. Store needs additional staff because the lines are always long. An express line or self checkout would be an efficient improvement to all HL stores due to low staffing. It won't affect customer service because you can rarely find anyone to help you anyway. (Be sure not to shop if you're in a hurry- or peak days.)
I've frequented Hobby Lobby stores for many years, purchasing a variety of items on a regular basis. I visited this store to purchase several of those regular items that were on sale, 30%, as they are every other week. Store clerk refused to honor the sale of the craft item indicating the item was not ever on sale. I produced an old receipt from prior sale 2 weeks before showing the same item and price I paid. She still refused to honor it saying cashier was wrong previously. I left the items and decided not to purchase them so I didn't hold up the line or debate it at that moment, I'd just go a different day when the sale rotates. Overall, good store for Hobby...
Read moreA very nice Arts and Crafts (a.k.a. hobby) shop in Titusville. This store is located along the west side of US-1 about 2 miles south of the Max Brewer Memorial Bridge. It is the anchor store for the center that has a Wayback burger and Pet Supermarket sharing the same building and a Chipotle in the parking lot in front of it. The store has a large parking lot shared for all the businesses with plenty of parking. The store is large, with a lot of products and a large space to display it in. Starting from the first store in Oklahoma City in 1972, this chain has grown to the largest privately owned arts and crafts store in the United States. It has more than 900 locations, across 47 states and touting 43000 employees. This is typical of their stores. There are areas for most popular arts and crafts like flowers, drawing, painting, journaling, and modeling. They have a discount section near the front where items from recent events are marked down that I recommend always checking out. Checkout is accomplished by real people at counters near the entrance/exit area. The store was clean, the staff was nice and the prices...
Read moreStay out of the frame department. I had called to see if my item had been framed and was told it would be ready the next day. The delivery date was indeed the next day and I arrived after 2:00 pm only to be told that it wasn't completed. I said I needed it before 4:00 pm that day and was then told I could come back at 4:00, well of course I could not since the person I was giving the gift to was someone that would be at my house at 4:00 pm. This was on a Friday I called again on Monday and was told it was ready. I came to pick it up and there were dog hairs under the glass. We waited while she took the piece apart and I removed one of the dog hairs, she got the other. She had told me I would receive a coupon for 40% off using my smart phone. When I checked out it was then I learned that 40% off was for only a portion of the framing. In my case it was the glass. I will NEVER do business at this Hobby Lobby again. I had good experiences in North Carolina at our local Hobby Lobby but I won't darken this door again. Good luck, if you want anything framed on time and...
