Dollar General — Local services in Toccoa

I like the manager she is super nice friendly & has tried her best to make this a descent store. The thing I have issues with is always out of most bag cereal.A lot of products are plugged so it's hard to keep in stock when items aren't looked at to ensure they are in the right location. For example, the pet food isle for over 2 months out of the cat treat gravy. I like it because it costs less, yet the more expensive delectable brand is plugged where my brand of choice should be. I mentioned this to the cashier & the manager before, yet the issue still remains. The Candy isle like reese cups, almond joy & mounds out of stock almost always. The laundry isle is out of stock of most detergents & fabric softeners that are on sale. It's hard to buy and save if the products aren't there to buy and save with. I actually started going to the newer Dollar General on Big A Rd. It seems to keep products stocked. I hope that continues. Yet it would be nice to simply keep going to this Dollar General because it's right down the road from home. I hate to leave a bad review but I must and always keep it honest and real so unless you want to do like I've had to do more often than not and stop walk in just to find that your product is out of stock so I turn around get back in my car and drive further from home to the next DG just to get my product. Remember, the manager is awesome. You couldn't ask for a kinder woman. But I'm not sure what has to happen before the things I need are back in stock at this more convenient location.I hope it happens soon. Since the previous review* I have to say SOMEONE LISTENED* I am happy to say I am seeing my products I use back in stock!!!! Not plugged!!! The store looks neat and does not have as much chaos. What a TERRIBLE experience. The store was empty of almost every essential item. The sad part is that all the stock was sitting on carts blocking nearly every aisle with absolutely NO HELP whatsoever. Thankfully, they did have the item I was looking for, but it was something not purchased very often. The floors were dirty, the shelves were empty, merchandise was on the floor causing a trip/fall hazard and the place just looks terrible. Toccoa should be ashamed to have this store so close to downtown. I would give 0 stars if I could. They work real hard here to try to keep everything stocked.every now in then they get a rude person working there.like now theres an older women there who was real rude to me.i picked a tube of lipstick out of a marked dwn basket and it didnt have a sticker but there were tons of others just like it just basically said well it was put in there and it's not supposed to be in there I told her there was lots more to go look if its not supposed to be in there I'll not get it cause I really didnt need it .I kept talking being nice trying to have a nice conversation she didnt say nothing.
