Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library — Attraction in Toccoa

The positives of this place is that the employees are helpful and friendly. However, I have frequently encountered the problem of the employees talking amongst themselves and with customers in very loud voices. This is very distracting to me as I come to the library frequently to study. I think it's great that they are so friendly, but if they could just whisper while they do it, I could concentrate better. I was always taught to whisper in a library, and it seems like basic knowledge to me that librarians would also possess. Also, a man's cell phone rang loudly several times, but no one told him to silence it. I think they should put up signs stating the need to silence cell phones, and then to verbally address it if someone's cell phone is ringing...

Great place! Some might take the little chatter of young people to be bothersome. I do not! The fact that little folks are reading and enjoying out tax dollars at work is music to my ears!!!!! And a HUGE shoutout to the nice lady at the desk who was kind enough to put a few cubes of ice in my ice(less)...
