This evening's Ida Cox Series 🎶 concert was so upbeat and accommodating, especially with all that is wrong these days with our crazy politically non interactive society. I cannot wait to return. Top talent preparing for upcoming EP RELEASE... "Frankies Mission Blues." I blogged it live on Facebook... Concessions 1$. Food truck 1! Hot Dogs. Such a gem. Evening of Blues...for this Harmonica player and songwriter...a slice of Heaven. Steve from Marietta great to meet a new friend. Praying for Wanda's Surgery in Atlanta. A big shoot out to Toccoa's Blue lives matter finest for assisting in a 🚑 issue. All Human Lives matter. Thank You all for a swell time. This recently renovated theater is really nice. The seats are comfy with pleanty of legroom. Every seat has an excellent view of the stage and the lighting, sound system and acoustics are very acceptable. ( This retro theatre is simular to the historic Holley Theater in Dahlonega ) What this beautiful theater sorely lacks is a exciting lineup of ticketed events featuring musical and stage plays. Hopefully The Ritz will find a promoter that will offer more events that will be enjoyed in this wonderful venue. THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE and perhaps the Toccoca city leaders will realize this jewell would really blaze a path to revitalize the downtown area. UPDATE !!!! The Ritz is now bringing in high quality tribute bands ! A John Denver tribute is coming soon and YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS this show. Absolutely top shelf. Take it from a musician, this artist is probably better than John Denver himself....

What a beautifully restored theater nestled in the heart of downtown Toccoa. Tonight they featured the movie, The Girl Who Wore Freedom, a documentary about D-Day, what the people of Normandy went through and the Americans who liberated them from the Germans. What a wonderful start to the 2022 Currahee Military Weekend.
