Go Playland Ocean County — Local services in Toms River

I am really not one to even write a review but this time I felt a need to make families aware of this place. Honestly, we used to really enjoy this place but it just took one instance to turn my opinion around.

My wife and I were here with our daughter today. She was playing around in the large play enclosure when suddenly she started screaming. We ran up the play structure and found her, bleeding from her finger.

After we took her down, I tried to get the attention of the man at the desk but he was sitting with airpods in and inattentive. After waving multiple times in his face, I asked him if he had bandaids. After rummaging through a desk he handed me a bandaid for her.

While this was going on, the mother of the children my daughter was playing with was kind enough to go investigate where my daughter would've got her finger cut.

At the time we were trying to console our daughter, the nice mother came to us and let us know that she had found a piece of cracked/broken plastic in the area of the upper level of the structure where my daughter and her kids were playing.

I mentioned this to the man at the desk but he seemed unfazed, didn't seem to care, and did not make any attempt to go investigate for himself or clean up any blood that may have been dripping in the structure.

We left immediately to go get proper first aid, which Go Playland also did not have.

Not only has the quality of this place declined but it's obvious lack of concern for children's safety is...

My daughter and I absolutely love this place. $20 for ALL DAY play, they get a stamp to come in and out of completely fenced in area. Adults welcome to play in structure as well or hang in waiting area which has a bunch of chairs and tables. No shoes anywhere in the play area which I love. They have a spot to store your belongings/shoes. They offer socks (which must be worn at all times) They also have a baby area for the smaller babes. Light refreshments & chips for sale. Seems clean and really so much to do, the play structure is 3 stories tall. 2 awesome slides, ball pits, climbing, swinging.. etc. Also have a cool bike track on the outside of play structure. The owner is a really cool down to earth guy. Perfect...

My kids love this place so much! It has a ton for all ages to do and always seems clean. My only complaint is the pricing. They offer a 20 dollar price per child (even charge for a 2 year old) with the incentive to “play all day” but my kids don’t stay longer than 1 hr 1.5 tops so for me it’s very pricey! Tonight we stayed 45 mins and it was 66 dollars (I have three kids). I mentioned to management they should absolutely offer a sibling discount if you are paying for more than one child. I hope they make some changes on this...
