I had the pleasure of visiting this H&M location on black Friday after losing a considerable amount of weight and simply needing new work clothes to function at my jobs. And while maybe I can find the same clothes for similar prices just about anywhere, the service is what sets this store apart, by far!!
Leilani was quick to greet not only myself but other shoppers entering the store as she was also multitasking replenishing and maintaining the floor. She asked if I needed assistance in finding any particular item, and since I was there for uniforms, I let her know what I was looking for. She gave me a couple of options and as I was exiting the fitting rooms, she had found some more!! The thoughtfulness almost took me aback in the most pleasant way possible. It is evident Leilani has not only a strong work ethic, but the irreplaceable soft skill of reading between the lines in guest services, giving her the ability to easily go above and beyond.
We all know that what black Friday was in decades past has mostly gone online these days, but when a semi-considerable line began to form, I did notice the manager on duty (who I later learned was Kia) effortlessly put forth a plan into action to get more staff to register area, while still maintaining a presence on the floor. Not one employee would've given you the impression they were under any pressure, on one of the busiest shopping weekends...
Read moreH&M is my “go-to” for T’s and church clothes. However, this review is centered on the outstanding customer service I receive at the Toms River location. In my last three visits, I have had three encounters with an employee named Mason. For whatever reason the Lord continues to put me in his presence. Mason is kind, humble, patient, and an absolute joy to be around while I am doing my shopping. I probably need to take a few notes from this young man. Every time we meet, he goes above and beyond to make sure I get the best prices in addition to ensuring I get all my points added to my account for purchases. Last night he patiently walked me through the process of establishing a permanent member ID on my phone so I don't have to keep downloading the App (Not enough data space atm). I say all this to say, great customer service is a rarity and a high commodity. I hope H&M begins to look into promoting this man soon before another CEO walks into your store and offers him a position. Thank you...

I don't like them they try to get my friend to quit to force her out of the door because he has special needs by giving her task that they know would be difficult for her knowing that she's handicapped so they can give her a poor evaluation and fire her she was told that if she has three write-ups she would be fired for being too slow but her handicap makes her slow they can find something for her they did when they needed her doing the Christmas season and now that it has significantly slow down they are trying to force her out of the door they use people up when they need them and throw them away...
