We just finished a large media room at our house... we stopped in to look at recliners to put in the media room...the idea is to use 2 rows of recliners, 4 in each row...we thought it would be better than basic chairs or sofas. We have a SuperBowl party coming up so we needed the recliners today. We were walking around looking at recliners when a girl asked us what brought us in there today...we told her we needed several recliners... she said "ok, you'll notice our prices are way lower than other recliners here in town" ...we said not really, you're about $100.00 higher than the ones we've been looking at and we didnt recognize the brand names on any of the recliners we looked at, so we asked her if she could get us the brand name and some info on them (figuring maybe they were a better brand than what we've been seeing around town). She said "let me go check" ....she walked away...10 minutes later we are still standing there and shes working with other customers...she never came back to us. We told one of the other guys who was working there that she never came back to help us or answer our questions... he said "Oh, shes new".... Really, so what...so she cant come back and help a customer because shes new...she cant get an answer to a question because shes new ...she cant have someone else help us out because shes new... she is unable to find her way back across the store because shes new.....what kind of stupid excuse is that? If she is so new that she cant figure out how to do her job, maybe you shouldn't send her out on the sales floor alone. Maybe you should have a seasoned sales person go with her and guide her along rather than have her alienate customers and then say...
Read moreI paid full price for a couch on May 21st and told us it would be 8 weeks before the couch would be there to pick up. They let us pick up half of the couch September 7th, after calling multiple times trying to get a more realistic timeline of when it would be in. When I called again October 26th to get the other half of the couch, they told me they discontinued my model. I asked if I could have the floor model. They apparently sold it to someone who came after me because they no longer had it in the store. So when I tried to return it and get a refund, I was told I should be there at 3pm as that’s when the manager would be in. I got there after 3pm and was told he wouldn’t be in until after 7pm. The associate also told me the store manager, Taivyn was supposed to call me and tell me they couldn’t issue a refund. We were looking for a living room couch that we could take home the same day. I truly think this is the only place in Topeka that offers that!
They offer financing, too! I was concerned that i may not qualify, but they reassured me that nearly everyone does. Sure enough, we qualified, and they had the new sectional couch out at the bay and ready to load by the time we finished signing.
They loaded the couch and even tied it down so it wouldn't go anywhere.
This business definitely knows how to take care of its customers and makes a big impression when making a big purchase.
