Airport Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Torrance

What can I say? This is Walteria California! The weather it's the best on the planet year round (according to the famous author Walt Whitman] and out abounds with friendly people in this shopping center everywhere you turn!

The employees of all the strores are unassuming and engaging, friendly, and genuinely without pretension, because the surrounding neighborhood is without strife or danger and the surrounding area is relatively free of crime; the amenities are clean and newish; and although the area is a bit pricey the stores here are full of local shoppers that are care free and smiling because of the relative security and complacency that comes with living life in south Torrance.

Adjacent to right here where this shopping center is located is the old Torrance municipal airport (hence the name), which was renamed in honor of Pete Zamperini in honor of both his athletic achievements in high school here in Torrance and the honor that he carried during his time as a prisoner of war in WWII.

This shopping center serves as the entrance of, and is the gateway to, what is now known as Zamperini Field!

The Airport Plaza Shopping Center is home to banks, eateries, a gym and sporting goods stores, and is frequented regularly by locals during their weekly shopping excursions.

There's even a couple of anchor stores here - Kohl's and Howard's.

Everything. Was perfect a clean until i got to the cosmetic area. Its was so disgusting all the tester were nasty and smushed and there where eye shadows that were crushed all over the counter it was just the worst cosmetic area I've ever been in. The center itself was great. I actually went to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast. The service was awful. First time going there and I guess you have to be a regular for them to treat you a little better. The waitress didn't have time for us, brought out food and we never saw her again. We waited for out check and finally shows up and brings it to us.
