Goodwill Store & Donation Center — Local services in Torrance

My mom and I wanted to see if a tv worked. We asked the employee if she could help us test it out and told us to do it ourselves. We tried to find the outlet she mentioned and asked for help again. She got upset and finally agreed. She kept demanding that we hold onto the tv even though it was small and could obviously do it herself. Once we decided to take it she walked away and didn't ring us up even though she was cashiering at the time. Instead she started to sweep and cursed. Another employee saw this and rang us up instead. I sincerely hope a store...

It is a nice store but the employees didn't make me feel comfortable. It's a shame that it's 2018 and just because you are brown people think you are there to steal..I went there looking for a costume for my 9 yr old(she was with me) and while I looked through the racks I kept seen this lady looking at me..my mom was in another part of the store and experience the same with another employee. It's safe to say we will never be going back to that store..i don't want my daughter to experience this again specially if we have done...

This was a while ago. But during Covid when they had to take people’s forehead temperatures to be allowed in, the young woman who took mine at the door, as if she was imitating a movie scene, stretched her arm out with the device in her hand to my forehead aiming it like it was an actual gun and acted like she was shooting me point blank in the head.
