CLD Shoe Clinic — Local services in Torrance

This was a strange experience. Please listen closely. I went by this shop yesterday (Thursday) to have one side of a watchband either restitched or re-glued ..the shop would let me know what's best.He said stitched and it would cost 15.00 As I pay him says" Or you can go to the mall and be charged a higher price". That comment was unwarranted and unprovoked, as I said okay and paid. That was a bad sign. He said I could pick it up same day before closing. I mentioned I would come on Friday the next day. I get there a few minutes after 9am the shop is not open.I come back and he says it's not ready. I remind him that he said I could pick it up yesterday. He immediately goes to get the watch and give me the money back. Thats horrible customer service and that's how you lose business. It could have racial undertones, he tried to hide it but theres something strange We did not argue no raised voices I simply mentioned that he said I could pick it up same day which was yesterday.Maybe hes friendlier with some people and stern or quickly short with others. because it's his kingdom and he reigns supreme. I now recall I went there before to have the strap of a backpack secured/stitched. For the price quoted i can get a new backpack was about the same price.So this review is not about the quality of service but hes got to tone down his attitude be humble and...

I am so glad I picked him over 2 other shoe shops, Jorge was the most friendly one who answered my phone. It was 100% worth the 18 mins drive. Now I trust him with all my shoes and I do have nice/expensive shoes.

I did 4 pairs, leather bottom, Jorge did great jobs on all of them with great rate, he is a sweetheart, love his quality work and great person.

And i happen to know the brand “topy” is a great quality sole(I used in my old country), He used the best one without me even asking. Now I can wear my shoes without worrying about...

This man was cool. A few years ago when I brought my belts, bags, but now he is heartless. He claims to be a doctor for feet but I don't believe him for one minute. He tried to get away with giving his wife my chanel bag that I left for months. After 6 months I went to pick it up and he said it wasn't there and he made me another ticket. However the next time I came he retrieved it knowing that I was back and gave it back to me. This man is bad news. Stay away. I trusted him once but I will never come back to him again and neither should...
