Lost Planet has been on my "to visit" hobby stores for close to 3 years now. I don't know why it took me so long! I usually go to SoCal in the summer time traveling from Philadelphia and I'm really glad I took the time to check out the store. The selection of 40k items was one of the best I've seen. There were more than probably 8 different types of paint brands (amazing). I might've counted 8 or 9 tables? I could be wrong as I was just a bit in awe at the amount of inventory. The people working at the store were dope (wish I could remember their names, but I'm terrible with names). One of them introduced himself to me as I walked in and told him of my pilgrimage to their store. He gave me a quick tour and left me to my lonesome to browse the amazing items. Remember, folks, support your FLGS as it is a very difficult business. You folks in Torrance have an amazing spot to go, hangout, socialize, and get away from reality for a couple hours with old friends or new friends. Thank you so much for the hospitality, great conversation, and AK Paints!

Awesome spot for magic players, warhammer, D&D space, and more. Lots of merch, figures, books and figure paints. Unfortunately, they don’t prioritize Pokémon or yugioh, so they did not have any cards here. Owner was nice and informative, tables are free, first come first serve, and bathrooms available. Definitely a seemingly random spot the shop is in, but you know what they say, the random spots always got the stuff.

This place has EVERYTHING you could ask for from board games to paints to miniatures to candles and dice! Tables to play at and a really well-informed team who can help you feel out exactly what you are trying to do or look for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got 2 board games that I've been searching for for years, and they had it and were super passionate about their collection!

Here's an alternate version for posting on a different site:

Lost Planet Games in Torrance, CA, is a true gem for board game lovers! The moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by Mike, the incredibly friendly and passionate owner, who creates a welcoming environment for all. It's clear that he cares deeply about both his customers and the game creators he supports, making this store stand out from the rest.

The staff is equally amazing – knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to help you find the perfect game, whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie. The store boasts an impressive collection of games, catering to all interests and tastes.

What really sets Lost Planet Games apart is Mike’s dedication to the gaming community. He goes above and beyond to support game creators and ensure customers get the best service possible. Plus, he's fully aware of the competition from big retailers like Amazon and Walmart and works hard to keep prices fair, so you’re not just getting great service, but also great deals.

If you're looking for a top-notch game store with personal, expert service, Lost Planet Games is the place to go. Highly, highly,...

I went here to get a gift for a friend. I knew he liked Warhammer and got his models from Lost Planet, but that was it. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me, noting that he hadn't seen me there before. I told him the name of the friend I was buying for and he immediately knew who I was talking about. He went over to the shelf and gave me a few suggestions, even saying "he just bought these (pointing to a box) last week so don't get those!" and "He's been really into these lately." I know nothing about Warhammer so I'm glad the owner was so helpful because I would've been lost without him and probably would've bought models that my friend wouldn't have even used, or bought him a duplicate. I can tell it's a really close-knit community within the shop and I admired how attentive and friendly the owner was. Also super impressed that he could remember so much about his customers, down to the models they already had and what they were into at the moment. Really impressed by the customer service and would definitely recommend this store to...
