Beach Bowls Acai Cafe — Restaurant in Torrance

I was in the mood for a delicious Acai Bowl, so I made my way to Torrance to try this place since it was near by. I was kind of skeptical about it at first based off the ratings but I decided to check it out for myself. Upon entering, the smell sweet smell smacks you all in the face LOL. The menu is quite large and it was alot to take in but I was super excited and ready. I decided to get the small Tropical Acai Bowl with my 1 topping being blueberries. My bowl had granola, bananas, blueberries, strawberries and pineapples and mangos(blended into acai)

They have different sizes to choose from and the sizes were just right. Just to let you know they also serve smoothies, though the menu is small the smoothie combinations sound very good. Now, my bowl was AMAZING.. SUPER GOOD!! this hidden gem did surprise me..I was impressed.. best Acai Bowl I've had in a while.

Okkkk guys, here's the reason for my 4 stars (if your wondering). There were literally 7 team members on the line, orders were mixed up, the wait was slower than molasses and it was crowded inside. My order took about 15-20mins just about to get to me( that's how slow it was) and many customers were checking on their orders as well. By it being that many team members on the line, service could have been a little faster. Secondly sighs it's was a little dirty inside, more so the floors. The inside was very outdated (decor wise) and they also have concrete flooring so it was super dirty along with trash that was already present.

Besides that I would have given this place 5 stars based off how awesome my bowl was. The question of day, would I return?.. I'm not sure. Yes my bowl was very very good but the flooring and trash was a huge eye sore and the wait time was a little long, so I would keep my eyes open for other Acai Bowl shops for the time being and MAYBE in the future I'll check them out again. If your looking for a good Acai Bowl and your in Torrance and want to check them out for yourself, by all means swing by. They do have great variations of bowls to choose from if you want to enjoy...

i was the first person in line and i went up to the counter and the 2 girls in the counter told me there’s tline and and i told them am in line and they were clearly being rude so i was trying to order and the cashier was not ready to help customers around 11 am stopped by after zumba. after i placed my orders she asked me to wait outside but didn’t get my name to be called ehr my order is ready . i went inside after 10 mins and asked the girl that was preparing the orders what the girls name at the cash register and that girl came to the window and i asked her name and she said why do i need her name? I to look d her i just want her name and she rudely told me that she doesn’t have to give her name to me , so rude she kept arguing with me and I asked for the supervisor and OMG she’s the supervisor. It clearly says what a bad customer service and etiquette this person has abd it’s only 11 am . But I got her name from the receipt and it’s Muhamed, short brown haired girl. While she was arguing with me the staff was surprised she’s acting like that. Never going back there again and will not refer friends and family there . This Muhamed girl needs to be re trained by the owner about customer service and clean the shop more . Behind the counter is so dirty and the place unorganized with 5 staff they still took long making the orders . Poor service and I really hope the owner of the açaí cafe in Crenshaw would pull the Muhamed aside and teach her manners which she didn’t have to argue...

I NORMALLY LOVE GETTING MY ACAI BOWLS FROM THEIR LOCATIONS BECAUSE THEY ARE NORMALLY PREPARED WELL AND THE FRUITS AND TOPPINGS ALWAYS SEEM FRESH AND PLENTIFUL. HOWEVER BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH OF TIME IT TAKES TO PREPARE A BOWL I HAVE BEEN CALLING IN MY ORDER. TODAY THOUGH...WAS RIDICULOUS! I CALLED IN A MINI BOWL NO GRANOLA ADDED TOPPINGS ALMOND, PINEAPPLE, BLUEBERRIES AND GOJI BERRIES...TO BE INCLUDED ALONG WITH THE USUAL BANANA'S AND HONEY. I PICKED UP MY BOWL OPENED THE BAG AND CUP TO FIND NO PINEAPPLES!!! MIND YOU I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CHARGED $9 FOR THIS MINI BOWL. I GO BACK IN THEY CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $1.25 FOR THE PINEAPPLE TO BE ADDED AS SHE FORGOT. I HEAD BACK TO WORK TO NOTICE THE BANANAS AND HONEY WERE ALSO MISSING...I JUST THOUGHT THEY WERE BURIED UNDER THE BLUEBERRIES...BUT NO!!!! THIS LOCATION HAS A LOT OF YOUNG LADIES CHATTING IT UP BUT ABSOLUTELY NO QUALITY CONTROL. I CALLED THIS ORDER IN TO AVOID ANY ISSUES AND A 30-45 MIN WAIT BY ORDERING IN PERSON... IT LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO JUST MAKE MY OWN OR FIND A BETTER ACAI BOWL CAFE. $10 MINI BOWL MISSING THE HEART OF IT'S COMPONENTS IS WASTED MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHO CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION...
