I just had the worst experience of my life at this home goods The manager is an extreme racist who refused to honor my receipt and give me my cash back for items I paid cash for. He said that he was tired of "YOU PEOPLE" and said that he didn't care what my receipt said. I was forced to take in store credit even though my receipt said cash. I paid for an Uber just to get to this store just to get humiliated​. IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR PLEASE BEWARE OF THE STORE MANAGER BECAUSE HE IS AN EXTREMELY RACIST MAN AND HE WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT HE IS. A Caucasian woman and her husband refused to do business with home goods after watching this manager in action. Please do not go to this new location, I smell a lawsuit or class action suit coming in...

I love shopping at Home Goods but Carol was EXTREMELY IGNORANT and I will NOT being going back to this location. I went to the Kirkwood location and grabbed a few things, and then drove to this location to see if they had what I was looking for. They did, and the previous item I purchased at Kirkwood was $10 cheaper here. The item I purchased at Kirkwood didn't have a tag, that's why it was more. Anyways Carol had a major attitude with refunding me, and she acted like I was a liar when I asked her if I needed to bring the item in, even tho a had a recent picture and a receipt..........$10 is a huge difference with inflation........she had ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to be RUDE with me!!!!!!!!!!! Home Goods is in the same family as Marshall's and TJ Maxx but with a much heavier lean toward household items (as the name suggests).
