I have had good experiences at QDOBA restaurants in the past, but we were quite disapppointed with our curbside pickup.
We ordered food for pickup while out running errands, and we ended up arriving about 15 minutes before our scheduled pickup time. I called the restaurant to let them know we had arrived (but that we were early and obviously didn't expect the food to be ready yet), and they said they would go ahead and start on the order. Surprisingly, it was finally brought out to our car almost ten minutes AFTER the original scheduled pickup time -- which is a long time to wait with two toddlers in the car!
The second problem was that my wife's bowl, which we ordered with ground beef, had none -- big letdown.
Finally, my own quesedilla was disappointing, not so much because of the quesedilla itself but because of the way it was packaged. The four pieces were placed into a box on top of each other, so when I opened it at home the whole thing was a soggy, unappetizing mess (and no, we didn't have a long drive home). Even Taco Bell doesn't stack its quesedilla pieces, so I'm surprised QDOBA packages theirs this way.
Again, I have usually had good experiences at QDOBA restaurants, and I suspect this location is a much better experience when dining in. We won't do pickup...
Read moreFresh Mexican food at a reasonable price. One of my favorite places to eat on my way home because of the location near Clayton and 141. Staff is friendly and honest.
In terms of food options, it's not the best place for healthy variety eating and while all their food is fresh and the seasonings are great, if you're not looking to eat a tortilla with meat and cheese involved, you're basically left with the gumbo. That said, the salsas, quesos, and guacamole are very good and the freshness of everything adds a lot.
My favorite is the burrito with tequila lime chicken, Diablo queso, and habanero salsa.
Prices are not cheap. It's easy to spend $12 on just an entree and soda. However, the rewards program gives you a free entree every 10 purchases, which is reasonable. Also, the volume of food is pretty high. You won't be hungry after eating Qdoba.
Lunchtime wait can be 5-10 minutes in line normally and the store is a little awkward to get to from Clayton, but the outside seating is scenic with the geese and ducks...
Read moreCame in 5/15/25 at 12:50pm there was a sign on the door saying they were shortstaffed and that they would only be taking online orders until 1 PM figured because it was only 10 minutes that I would wait. They had the line blocked off so you couldn’t walk through to order sat around till 115 before I realize that nobody plan to take anyone’s order that was sitting around waiting. Decided I would try again 5/19/25 came in 1 o’clock No sign on the door and the line was not blocked. There was three people working. When I walked to the front of the line because there was no one in line and everyone else had their food they told me that the only way I could order food if I did it online. Personally, do not understand why I need to order something online, especially since I only plan on getting a cup of soup to go. Probably won’t be back tired of being...
