Athleta — Local services in Town and Country

I don't write reviews, but this had to be said. If being petty to customers makes your day happier, then good for you I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Imagine walking into the store and not getting greeted or helped with at all while people who are around you are being asked if they need anything twice or even thrice.

I've been an active cardholder for Gap/Banana Republic/Athleta for over a decade, not that it should change anything, but the staff chose to ignore me and my mother and greeted literally everyone else.

The blonde salesperson kept staring at us as if she was scanning what we were wearing, turning away whenever we made eye contact, and went to compliment another customer and loudly ask if they needed assistance.

We chose to wait around and actively see what happened with new folks who came in, and they all got greeted on the spot and told about the promotion, even asked if they needed any help with sizing, including offering suggestions for clothes that would suit their needs.

The staff included a short woman and tall blonde woman who both avoided any eye contact and proceeded to walk the long way to get around the store and fitting rooms. We wanted to ask about colours and sizing and ended up leaving from how baffled and...

I didn’t get acknowledged in the store when multiple employees were near me, walked by me and made eye contact with me. One of the employees was clearly gossiping and talking to another employee- I don’t know if it was regards to me or something else, but when I turned to look at her, she immediately stopped speaking, which would’ve been the perfect opportunity to greet me, but she didn’t.
