AJ Nails — Local services in Town and Country

NO stars if could!!! Do not stand behind their product longevity. Nails started cracking (sns) then chipped. Called them they told me to come in and they would fix. I asked if i needed appointment, they said "no". So i came in they told me to sit and wait...then 30 minutes later someone came over and told me no one would fix because they didn't know who my nail tech was. We I showed them receipt, I asked if they could figure it out from that. She said no, then after I reviewed the receipt I showed a number of the server and asked if that could be linked to the person... she then said "oh, yea".. long story short... they are not accommodating to their mistakes, made me feel like I was in the wrong and i needed to work around their schedules. I thought I was the customer and you should do anything (something) to make the customer happy. Needless to say I walked out with no gift card, ugly nails, and tears in my eyes! Oh and to top it all off the man that did my nails ended up being there, was the second person I talked to; and he completely ignored me, acted like he had no clue who I was...WOW. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! #treatothersthewayyouwanttobetreated...

Having had several quality manicures a pedicures I was sugnificantly disappointed on the quality/ per price of service provided. Manicure: Nails were file unevenly and left at an angle, Cuticles were hardly cleaned up mostly bc the soaking time was approximately 5 seconds in cold water. Polish I was charged $5 extra for manicure and $5 for pedicure to use long lasting color ( not shellac ) Pedicure: Again soaked in tepid water. Nails were cut adequately but cuticles were cleaned on one foot and not the other. Over all one of the girls was friendly, but the service is poor for both services. I was in and out in 35 minutest including drying time. Worst mani/pedi I have ever had. If you want in and out this is for you if you want to have quality service with a little pampering find...

Updated review 9/29/2025 I decided to go back.Sadly my powder dip experience was unforgiving. Tina nicked my cuticles 6 times. Her response was a tap on my hand and “ohhh sorry about that”. I really couldn’t believe it. I was bleeding! She dabbed a green solution on the six obvious spots.

I’ve now gone 4 times for dip manicure and regular pedi. It was inconsistent every time. The most recent the tech left dip dried all over my mail beds.

Previous review 2yrs ago 3 stars. Cleaning up your cuticle isn’t part of the service. They use a drill bit for everything. This part of the industry has changed so much it’s disappointing.
