Dollar General — Local services in Town of Amherst

To be short- it's what you'd expect for a dollar general. It is bigger than some of the other ones in the area and was very busy. I had to wait in line for a good amount of time to pay. The reason I deducted a star is because I needed to rent the rug doctor machine and after waiting 10 minutes in line the cashier didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for another lady to finish cashing her customer out and then she couldn't find the sign out book. She wasn't looking very hard and kept telling me she couldn't rent it because she can't find the book. I called even called ahead before I came and asked if it was available to rent and she was the one on the phone that said yes. So after 10 minutes in the line and a 20 minute drive to the 4th farthest dollar general to me, I wasn't leaving. She went and got someone in the back who found the book in one second. The staff is nice however they are severely understaffed. If a customer has a pricing issue the entire line is backed up because they are only able to have one register open. Start unionizing - ot is simple and statistically beneficial for everyone, start demanding respect for customers, employees and stockholders, start holding overpaid unscrupulous executives accountable. Our corporations have the highest profits, executive pay and owner net worth decade after decade after decade in the entire world... they have absolutely no reason or justification for a decline in treatment or service to employees customers, stockholders, our people and...

This store is filled with the rudest people of every Dollar general I've ever been to. I was in the other day when a lady told me she wouldn't reload my card, once I told her I've done it here before then she did and I came back today and I was told no once again and was treated with such contempt it's disgusting this company would allow people like this...
