I was the only customer in the store, and waited there with my three year old until the worker was done restocking. There's no reason restocking could not have waited. I was willing to overlook that, however.
One of the items I purchased was a chocolate heart with my daughter's name on it. The box was tied closed, so I didn't see the heart until my daughter opened it on Valentine's Day. It looks like a child wrote her name on it. For the cost, the workers should be trained on how to write legibly with icing, or ask someone else to do it. When I called and explained that the name was written terribly, I was firmly told "just come in and we'll re-do it for you." This was a statement, not a choice. I was not about to make a 45 minute round-trip during a snow storm, on Valentine's Day, to have it replaced. There should have been options provided, like a store credit for my next purchase, or a...

She worked at Fowler when it was family owned and operated for about 30 years so she had a lot of experience. If the candy wasn’t made with quality ingredients she didn’t consider the company worthy of working for.
