The Staff at booking were amazing and personable and courteous! It was made clear that the coverage had to be increased to cover the rental and negotiated the best price! Five days before I checked in to inform them of the insurance I would be using as At booking they were informed that I had two different companies for my cars ! I was informed that the one I used at booking was ok and as I knew it was not the policy that was bumped up had concerns! I emailed copy of the policy and cards to representative at office who confirmed receipt! The day before the event when I was traveling to the church for rehearsal I decided to check in and was told the coverage was not increased when they checked ! From here on in it was a bit shaky as I was speaking to various representatives of the company some who it seemed did not understand the process from my end and even the date of my event was the next day ! I called my insurance who confirmed coverage increase and said they have to ask insurance representative to look at change of coverage as there was an order to reinstate it to its previous coverage a few days later! I asked for a pdf of coverage and emailed to company ! They called and still even after looking at documents said so was not covered ! Response was that they were going to contact owner of cloud 9 for a response ! I called my insurance while at church and representative was kind enough to call cloud 9 spoke to another of their representative on a 3 way endorsing the coverage ! We were told that they cannot take a call as it could be fictitious which I understand and they have to initiate call to insurance! I had insurance write a note on policy to state coverage so it can be seen by any random representative answering any inquiry! After an hour of waiting for a return call I reached out again to cloud 9 prepared to drive out in the morning to sift this out as My event was at 130! The person stated if I was covered then all is well with my delivery to the hotel ! I then received a text 15 minutes later as we were about to commence our rehearsal dinner ! The delivery of the rental be the representative was thorough and courteous even connected my phone to the Wifi of car ! Our rental was amazing and clean we did not drive more that 25 miles between our source to church then to event reception! The return process next day was Smooth with owner meeting me apologizing for mix up. ! They test drove the car and supplied a receipt along with a cap to commemorate the company ! Experience of staff rental in person was amazing however there needs some stability in ensuring the company assets are covered with insurance so customers are not sweating bullets before their event ! Now, firstly I completely understand the the 1 & 2 stars cause whatever it is you think you're about to spend, just triple the amount to be safe. Secondly, its a no brainer that I understand the 4 & 5 stars people cause the experience will never let you down, like never.
My experience, rented a pruple hellcat (11/17-11/18 of 2020) and it was amazing and went to NJ for topgolf with some nursing buddies. The people at C9E demonstrated nothing short of professionalism, to a degree. Main reasons why its a 4 and not a 5. . First time I was limited on miles, so i paid pretty hefty on that, $3.50/ mile after 100 miles, but hey I understand. -I was limited on how fast I can go, couldn't go passed 100mph, but they allowed me to do it once (yipee. .) but once you hit that 3rd time or more you lose your safe deposit (just like that snaps finger), in my case it was about $2k that I could've lost for having a little fun. . In a hellcat mind you, which has 707BHP.
