The event was okay but I expected a lot more from the famous food festival! There were several things wrong with this event. I purchased VIP tickets for me and my sisters but it didn’t feel like we received a VIP package after entering the festival.

Firstly, entering the festival was unorganized and chaotic! There was no clear line to distinguish between VIP buyers and regular admissions buyers. We were told to stand on one line and then we were told to stand on a several different line, which really wasn’t a line. People were rushing to the the front and pushing one another. So it became hectic and disorganized. Staff and security could’ve done much better with providing organization and a speedy check in process.

Secondly, as VIP ticket holders we didn’t get preference nor the true value that was promised to us. Paying about 30 bucks for a ticket (Groupon) we didn’t get any food platter (which the lady told us that those food platters didn’t come. Also the food that we had to pay for was expensive and mediocre which was sad. As a VIP guest, we should’ve definitely had a sample platter of all the foods available.

Thirdly, it seems like those who purchased regular admissions, received swag bags that is VIP holders got. So for all of that, we could’ve gotten the regular ticket.

Overall, there were good parts about the festival like the cheese and beer expiernce, the free samples, and the trinkets I paid for. But this festival is not worth the money you pay for the VIP ticket, I could’ve gotten more for my VIP ticket, but and is too...

🌟 Famous Food Festival 2025: Where Flavor Meets Fire! 🌟

If you missed the Famous Food Festival this year… we’re sorry for your tastebuds.

Held at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, the 2025 edition of this iconic food-lover’s paradise was bigger, bolder, and far more delicious than ever before. We’re talking over 65 vendors, global cuisine, and flavor explosions on every corner. From spicy birria tacos to melt-in-your-mouth lobster rolls, the food was the true headliner—but the vibes made it unforgettable. It was Sooooooo good!

🎶 And speaking of headliners… Fallin Anthem absolutely tore the stage apart! The teenage rock rebels delivered a set that turned casual shoppers into full-blown fans. Think gritty vocals, wild guitar solos, and a crowd that could not stop screaming. Total rockstar energy. This band isn’t just “up-and-coming”—they’ve ARRIVED. If you saw them live, you know exactly what we mean.

🍹 Plus: craft drinks, vibrant local vendors, lawn games, and kid-friendly zones made this the ultimate all-ages summer kickoff. Whether you came for the food, the music, or the energy, the Famous Food Fest served it hot.

📝 Final verdict: 11/10. Already counting down till October and next year.

If I could give no star I would. Woke up this morning ready to support local vendors at the 2019 Famous Food Festival in Deer Park. My husband and I wanted to go with our two 22 week old American bullies. We checked all the websites online for their dog policies and NOWHERE was it written that dogs arent allowed. So we brought them with us. Standing on line we met 3 other dogs that had no vests on and the poodle breed waiting to enter the festival. They went in facing no questions and no problems. When it was our turn we went to hand our money over to this older blonde woman and she said your dogs are not allowed. I said why? She said well because of the breed. And just like that I flipped. Other women that worked there saw getting so aggravated and came over to tell me its not because of the breed and its because they are not service dogs. Thats funny...the 3 dogs that entered DID NOT HAVE SERVICE VESTS ON!!! Also do not keep apologizing to me! Since you've let in more than a handful of dogs you should have just let my dogs in. No instead they called security...I am beyond disgusted on how I was treated by these workers because of...

The staffing for the event was absolutely accommodating to the highest extent!! They exceeded our expectations everything was so delicious. Our only complaint was the vendor that goes by the name “heaven noodles” was not presented as such on their tent and did not honor our sampling package and even had an attitude with me when I presented my voucher. The sampling package is $122 per person which includes 12 FREE samples of their selection of vendors. When I presented the voucher to heaven noodles two of the workers/vendors stated that each voucher was equal to $5 to purchase from their menu. It was severely disappointing their cheapest item was $8. What happens to the other $2 remaining if we were to go that route? It’s supposed to be free samples not used as a cash balance. On top is that their tent has nothing that says heaven noodles I was only about to find it because it had the same logo on the voucher. Aside from that all other food and vendors were spectacular.

The $15 entrance fee is off putting. $60 for a family of 4 plus the cost of food. It is not a cheap night out. There was plenty of security and the entertainment was ok but not enough to warrant such steep entrance fee. Food on average is $20 per item. $16+ for drinks. Mostly a conglomerate of food trucks around the perimeter with other booth vendors laced through the middle. Seating was located all the way across the other end from the food vendors. That was stupid, they should have seating throughout. Otherwise like us you end up standing and eating everything. Not very accommodating. The food choices were varied but didn't seem so exotic or around the world tastes. The vendors we did choose to patronize were very good. Spent close to $100 for 2 people. If it weren't for such a beautiful evening and great weather, I'd be a little less complimentary. Not sure whether we would go again or just visit a favorite restaurant for the price.

We go every year at least once as we have our favorite food truck vendors that we love to support. The line to get in is always long but I’m amazed at how quickly it moves and they get people in. It’s a two’fer as you get to try out some amazing eats and get your outlet mall shopping done at the same time with all the top tier stores like Coach, Gap, Under Armor etc. Comfy shoes are a MUST if you’re gonna go the distance and please take note of where you parked as it’s easy to get turned around especially if you’ve been circling looking for parking. Check out my video of the “live tree money grab.” So fun and quite entertaining while waiting on those long lines. Cheers to the next adventure 🥂
