The worst place ever, 3 of us were literally up all night and next day sick to our stomach vomiting and diarrhea ALL THREE OF US TERRIBLY SICK, we threw food away after a bite it was sour and it tasted like vinegar and had an odd smell do not eat there PLEASE DO NOT IT IS EXPIRED FOOD ! Please listen to this post we were almost POISONED TO DEATH ! I will call the FDA to definitely look into what is going on, this cannot go on ! All expired old poisonous food ! Never ever ever will we go back and all my friends and neighbors will know about this, I live in the new senior condos off great neck rd south of Merrick rd it is a large complex with mainly seniors who find it convenient not to cook and like to pick up dinner, well this will spread like wildfire throughout my complex, just do not want anyone to get as seriously sick as we did ! Terrible terrible experience, needed to let everyone know ! Stay away from the red awning store on GREAT NECK RD. “Polmart” the worst...

Yet another cramped Polish deli. The line was extremely long to purchase kielbasa and other items. No place to stand comfortably. Interesting grocery items. Counter help very unfriendly or helpful especially if you speak English. My money was good though. Pierogi were a $1.50 each and frozen….did not purchase . Couldn’t see if they offered them otherwise and wouldn’t get an answer if I asked. Kielbasa was too smoky and the texture was not...

Came across this place while out with a friend. We walked through the door just as they were getting ready to close, but they invited us in anyway and I'm so happy they did. The homemade pierogi was outstanding. We were going to buy some from the freezer, but they still had fresh pierogi and cooked it up for us. SO delicious. I will definitely be back...sooner than later...when I have more time to look around. Absolutely...
