Village of Lindenhurst — Local services in Town of Babylon

Overall not good. People in all positions except clerks are rude, by this I mean that anybody in there who has some type of just a little higher position, seems to think that they are in some type of position of power. This is simply unacceptable. They are public servants, they serve the public (public is me and you), so they should really adjust their attitude and show some respect for the people of this village. It’s ridiculous how some of the stuff works - for instance they are issuing parking tickets for both metered parking and commuter lot that are basically more expensive than in NYC, 24 hour meters that have no street facing sign to inform drivers that those are 24 hour...

Aside of three people the staff are some of the rudest people I’ve come across in a while. I’m sure it’s difficult to deal with the public daily but some of the staff really aren’t meant for their positions and should find work where they don’t have to interacting with other humans. When I complimented a security guard on his attitude compared to some of his coworkers, a female coworker told me to calm down. She’s probably sensitive to complaints because she was rude as well. These people should do better for the village members they are...
