Super 8 by Wyndham Lindenhurst — Hotel in Town of Babylon

I’m a person who has foreign bed syndrome. If you don’t know what that is, it’s when you can’t sleep in any bed but your own at home. I have to say I got one of the best nights sleep I ever got in a hotel at this location. The mattress was perfect. The temperature of the room was perfect. The noise level was perfect, and I knew what I was getting into with a budget motel. I fully expected hearing banging through the walls, loud noise, loud conversations all night, the whole 9 yards I totally expected it. I got none of it. The room was clean; we checked for everything. There was nothing. We sprayed around the bed just because with Lysol to make sure there was nothing and we slept very peacefully, my daughter and I. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for someplace cheap and accessible to stay at, but definitely don’t come here expecting 5 star amenities you’re not gonna get it. The staff here was definitely professional and accommodating on a five star hotel level. The receptionist was gonna give me a room on the second floor, but when I said I have mobility issues, he switched it from a single king size bed to a double full bed for the same price. Hi. I live in this town of LINDENHURST . MY FRIENDS ARE BUSINESS OWNERS FOR MANY DECADES. I OWNED A BUSINESS HERE. THE PEOPLE FROM HERE GET PRICES THAT ARE INSANE!! NO REFRIDGERATOR NO MICROWAVE AND FOR ALMOST 200 DOLLARS NO BLANKETS. BUT YOU CAN FINDELTED MICROWAVES AND BROKEN CRAK PIPES / GLASS ON THE FLOOR. I HAVE BEEN WOKEN UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FROM JUNKIES AMD HOOKERS. THEY ARE STARTING TO LIVE HHHEEERRREE NOW.. FOR A CHEAP AFFORDABLE RATE. BUT WE PAY BIG!!! Worst place I've ever stayed in my life. Very normal at first glance for a budget motel, but after a brief shower, the DISCOVERY OF BED BUGS IN ROOM 215 WAS A DEAL BREAKER. Full grown bed bug on shower curtain alive and kicking. Checked the whole room after we killed it just for peace of mind. Tore the bed apart. Was about to stay the night till we checked the carpet and seen they were crawling about the carpet like it was spring break. Not worth the ptsd or anxiety. Needs to be put on news 12 for this type of infestation. Guy at counter tried to switch rooms instead of offering a full refund. This place needs to be fully shut down. If you have dozens of bed bugs in one room, they're in all the rooms.

UPDATE: Super 8 needs to be ashamed of themselves. Threatening to fire their employee when he was only doing his job is absurd!!! It's not his fault your motel has an infestation of bedbugs!!!
