My phone quit charging so we took it to wireless city in the mall because they did a pretty good and quick job with my screen. They told Jimmy it would take an hour. Well an hour turned into a few days..I reached out again after the few days was up and they told me they needed a couple more days. I called them 5 days later and they had no idea where my phone was and told me to call the next day when the tech would be there. I called again as they instructed to be told he was going to need a few more days bc it was "a hard job". I called a week later and he told me the phone still wasn't done but I could come to the store and pick it up because at this point Jimmy decided to just get me a new phone. I called back to tell them I would be having Jimmy head there to grab my phone and suddenly they didn't have it bc it was at their nameless sister company and would need to be shipped to me. Well it's now a week later and still no tracking number or word on my phone. I reached out to the guy today and he lied and said he was off last week even though I have the call log and texts to him at the store....he was supposed to reach out to me today to let me know where my old phone is and as you can guess he hasn't contacted me. I highly suggest never taking your phone here. It's getting to be pretty clear that they've lost my phone. For timeline purposes we dropped it off on the 28th of December.
EDITED TO ADD. After posting a review I was finally sent a tracking number. Phone was supposed to be shipped to my house but will now be at the shop. Apparently a ribbon cable, battery and charge port takes over 3...
Read moreOne morning, I noticed that my Samsung phone had refused to charge overnight. I tried multiple outlets, cords and bases and still, nothing would bring it to life. Unfortunately, none of my files, pictures or videos had been backed up. Verizon couldn’t help because it was out of warranty and Best Buy diagnostics suspected that there were motherboard issues and there was nothing they could do. Feeling hopeless, I took my phone to Wireless City in the mall as a last resort to see if anything could be done. Volcan was able dissect the phone to get it to charge and power on in a roundabout way, so that my data could be recovered and transferred. I bought another phone while I was there and the price for my new phone and the data recovery of my old phone were excellent. I was met with patience and assistance with whatever I needed every step of the way with setting up the new phone. The customer service I received there was above and beyond. Volcan is very knowledgeable, is straightforward about what he thinks can or cannot be fixed, and he prioritizes customer satisfaction. This place is highly recommended. If I didn’t stop here, I would have given up on my phone and my data would have...
Read moreDo not have your IPHONE repaired here. He uses knockoff parts that are not compatible with IPHONES and he will destroy your phone . I have had 2 IPHONE batteries replaced elsewhere with no problem. One company was a mobile company that met me at work. No problems with the other 2 batteries. I was charged what the Apple Store charges but with an inferior battery that isn't compatible with my IPHONE. Battery functions won't work unless I replace the battery with an authorized IPHONE battery. Here's an update My phone is a paperweight. The defective battery will not hold a charge and it's experiencing performance issues. Apple claims Wireless City damaged the iphone when installing the knockoff battery and couldn't guarantee the phone would ever work properly again even with a new Apple authorized battery. It's time this place was closed and the shady...
