Don Capitans - Pupusas, Salvadoran Seafood Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I’m not sure how this place got high ratings. When I walked in the people looked at us like we were from another planet. The people who worked there did not acknowledged us and looked at us with dirty looks. When I noticed the woman who worked there I asked her are we able to sit down over there and she just pointed. There was black stuff in the drinks which was sent back. We asked for pupusas and we sat there for over 30 mins which caused us to cancel the order to leave. The atmosphere was extremely negative and for whatever reason the people that was in there just kept staring at us uncomfortably....

Saw the restaurant on the way home which is literally 2 mins distance and went inside. The owner George came out to greet us since we don’t speak Spanish. He recommended the baked clams which were absolutely delicious and we ordered tacos and a seafood dish. Everything was delicious and prices are most importantly very reasonable!
