I really want to like this place, the food is fantastic, but every single time I've gone to this location it has been a problem.
The first time I ordered breakfast with a hot coffee. The guy handing out orders calls out my name, and a girl asks him, "does it have orange juice?". He looks at the hot coffee in his hands, and looks the girl dead in the eyes and says "Yes, this is orange juice" and hands away my order without listening to me and tells me my order is on the way. 40 minutes later, I'm asked what I'm waiting for after everyone has come and gone. Needless to say, they were embarassed and got my order ready, comped it which was a class act move by whoever came to replace the kid at the front and the food was GREAT. I would much rather have paid for the food and not spent almost an hour standing in place waiting, though. There isnt even any seating.
Second time I stopped by in the morning, close to 10:30. There was a long line, so before I waited on a 15 or so person line I tried to ask the guy at the window if breakfast was still served. Instead of a simple yes or no, he told me to wait at the back of the line with a crazy attitude. I simply left, no point waiting on a long line if theres a chance I cannot get breakfast after the fact. Just answer the question, dude. I asked the people on line and they had no idea if breakfast was served, either.
Today was probably the last time I stopped by. On the sign, weekdays breakfast is served until 10:30. Saturdays it is served until 11, and no posting for Sundays so I assumed 11. At 10:40 exactly, I went to the window- I am the only person on line and there is nobody else. I tried to order breakfast, and the guy (same one who thought a hot cup was orange juice, funny enough) just says no breakfast after 10:30 with the same shitty attitude he always has. There's nobody waiting for food and its 10 minutes after the non posted time, is it so hard to make an egg sandwich?
As mentioned, I really want to like this place. The food on that one occasion I got the chance to have it was above average, however the service and attitude truly is garbage. The owner or manager who comped my meal was cool, and he did yell at the idiot who thinks orange juice is served hot which was way more satisfying than the free sandwich. I get that they may be busy at times, but it's crazy that this place gives me a problem 100% of the time I go, on three seperate occasions. Maybe it is the employees, I'm not sure but I really wished I could have had a better experience because the...
Read moreA well earned NEGATIVE review!! I've been a regular of this establishment since they've opened about 3 years back and as I'm a very patient person, I HAD ENOUGH OF POOR, NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES; called to place an order for 2 sandwiches at 2:33PM, (as per my call log) taking into account, they'll start preparing the order after 5-10mins, was told 20-25mins for the order to be ready, arrive at 3:10PM and give them my name and there're all just looking at each and then the young man points to what was a slip with my order; waited about 5mins, someone comes back to me at the window and starts to ring me up, I then ask are they making my order now?! The person says "yea, making it now".... that's when I decided I no longer wanted what I ordered.
Here is the principal behind all this, I ordered cause we're hungry and everyone is on a schedule, to manage my time accordingly, I called ahead of time and saved some time for myself to eat. Due to an unfortunate situation where my order was forgotten, I was hungry and did not have a chance to grab something else to eat as I had to be somewhere which would not allow me to eat for a good few hours.
There have been many times where I was told 30-40mins for your order which was fine with me and when I arrive to pickup, I'd have to wait a good 10-15mins to pay and leave with it, which I have patiently waited many times. BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!! Honestly speaking, the food is not alllllll that, I've had much better. The amount of money I've spent all these years amount to someone's annual property taxes. I WILL DEFINITELY BE SPREADING THE WORD TO MY LARGE NETWORK OF FAMILY & FRIENDS.... Great👍🏼 job!!!!!!!! Looks like this establishment is headed to going out of...
Read moreThe food is excellent, but the service I experienced was very disappointing. I ordered a hero and a burrito online and showed up an hour later, went to the window and told the young lady I was here to see if my order was ready. Frankly, I didn't mind waiting an extra few minutes (though I thought it was kind of odd), but she simply disappeared. I think she may have forgotten that I was at the window. A few minutes later, another young lady asked if I could be helped, and I told her I was checking if my order was ready, and she checked and came back quickly, informing me it would be a "a little while longer", and without hesitation immediately asked the people behind me how they could be helped. I thought that was a bit rude, but I understood the urgency. They tried to place their order and were informed to 'come back in 5 minutes'. They had been waiting there 15 minutes to begin with. We all just sort of shook heads in frustration, and they left. I have no doubt this place has some great food and is well known for it; it is legendary in the area. But the service aspect needs some serious deficiencies corrected. Just a simple communication, even a text or a way the people at the window can know which order people are talking about. I eventually got the order about 25 minutes later, after I got the text on my phone, went to the windows, and they couldn't find it. I am not sure if they are severely understaffed, or having a bad day, but it was disappointing. I will also add that the people taking the orders seemed very stressed and devoid of any joy in their work. This could just be the way the world is these days, but as a paying customer, I have a hard time convincing myself to...
