HORRENDOUS experience. I went for the first time 3.5 weeks ago and paid $240 for a volume set. Was happy with them. Made an appointment for my refills and the original girl that did them was on vacation so I was booked with another girl. I dont like to give people a hard time, so I stayed quiet without complaining in the store the night I got my refills. The girl that did my lashes was apparently not feeling well because she kept getting up and leaving, then would return 10 minutes later. The other lash artists were asking if she was okay as well. I was in and out of the chair within 50 minutes, despite the fact that she took extended breaks and this was a volume refill----I felt badly complaining so left her a tip, but then called immediately after I left (less than 30 min later) and said I am not happy with the refills as they are clearly lacking volume and I'd like to come back to have them fixed. I was nice about it and said I didnt want the girl that did the lashes to feel like I am complaining about her, because I understand she was not feeling well. The girl on the phone said she recommends I come back with Emily, the one that originally did my lashes, because everyone has their own style etc. I was trying to go back the very next day but Emily was only available on Saturday, days after the refills (for which I paid $120). Today I called to advise that all of my lashes on one eye had fallen out and had even broken my lashes. The other eye has only a handful of lashes left. In addition, I can tell a lot of my real lashes broke because the extensions were applied improperly. I wanted to come in today if possible because I look ridiculous.
The manager stated they have to charge me for a full set ($240) and the "best" they can do is 20% off. So basically, they want me to pay $200 for a full set because THEIR employee haphazardly slapped lashes onto me just to get me out the door. I said that was ridiculous and was told they cant give me anything for free. I said I am not looking for anything FREE, I think its ridiculous to say the "best" you can do under the circumstances is make me pay $200 (after already paying you almost $400) because of subpar work. In addition, I pointed out that I called 30 min after I left. I also pointed out that I was trying to come in the very next day. It's not as if I was trying to buy time and then get something free. I asked to come back THE NEXT DAY they were open, which would have required significantly less work on their part. They gave me an appointment days later themselves.
They are clearly short sighted and expect clients to pay for their mistakes. I have been getting my lashes done for 2 years and only switched to luxurious lash after the girl at my last place ceased employment there. luxurious lash is closer to my home so figured I'd give them a shot. They think demanding I pay 200 after a refill that I also paid full price for (and immediately expressed was not done properly) is reasonable and that anything less than that is "free"
Awful awful experience. Do not recommend at all. I NEVER leave negative reviews but this was SHOCKING and I am so irritated at the amount of time and money they forced me to waste in these past 3 weeks. And the attitude of "we can't give you something for free" instead of "we will make this right for you," when it defies logic as to how volume refills could have been accomplished in (collectively) 20-25 minutes and then fall off entirely. Now I have to go to a new place and pay for ANOTHER full set.
EDIT to respond to the Owner's post below: I did call. I spoke with 2 different people (including the manager), which is when I was told all of the above. I was treated as if I was trying to get something for free, when I complained the same day that I received serviced and asked to come back immediately after to have them fixed. I explained ALL of the above on the phone. To TWO different people. And was told you understand but "since (I) need a full set, the best (you) can do is give 20% off." Asking me to call to "fix" it is...
Read moreso initially, I drove out two hours to visit this place my usual place is wink bar in Flushing, which styles anime lashes and they do an amazing job but I didn’t wanna try somewhere new and I went here. I requested what I wanted. The lady was very professional. She definitely was clean you know she tried her best, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I definitely let her know that my eyes looked different. I left being like 70% happy I paid 170 I tipped 20. I just for that price I expected more I guess and that’s not what I got. My eyes look different. One of them is Spike and actually they do a style where they glue the spikes together which I’ve never had in my life. I’m always able to come out with my lashes, especially after I shower because it gives it a nice fluff and apparently these you can’t comb out because they glue the ends together which I don’t like that at all so I called the next day to see if the owner would be able to work something out with me because I do have to go get them fixed or maybe even removed all she said was I’ll give you $20 off the next time you visit and I told her like I had to drive out two hours I’m not visiting again. I expected more sympathy because I did text her photos. She was making too many excuses every time I was trying to explain how I feel and what’s wrong. She was giving me excuses and not saying like OK well and then she was like come back and I’ll try to fix it yeah no I’m not driving two hours a day before I’m leaving for 26 hour trip to come fix my lashes somewhere where I was not happy so just she could’ve said I will refund you $50 so you can go fix them or something along those lines but I will just have to file a dispute...
Read moreI would leave zero if can . I went to this place after my place closed down after so many years . Place is too fast paced n crowded but most importantly they don't know how to put lashes . I was very uncomfortable and eyes super teary and burning thru out the whole process. Tech stayed I have sensitive eyes which is not case. She was gluing the lashes to my eye lids , super visible and when I said something she answered that's how u put them . Thankfully I didn't get an eye infection and my eyes where very uncomfortable. . Unfortunately my friend that went with me did get an eye infection as this place is unprofessional. When we call to tell them , they said it's people with sensitive eyes. I finally went to another place . Super satisfied not even one tear or burning sensation that I felt thru out the process on this business .. don't go, definitely do not recommend, save your money and your EYES and go...
