Lake Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I have been to Lake Deli several times. Its normally pretty good. After a long day, there was no way I was thinking about dinner. My husband suggested sandwiches from Lake. We ordered 2 sandwiches on TOASTED garlic bread, lettuce, tomato, mayo & ketchup at 5:30 when they close at 6pm. I went to pick up the order and was bearly greeted. The gentleman said let me ring you up so we can get done. Were closed after you. Its been a long day. Which all is fine but they way he said it, is what I have an issue with. When I went home I opened up to see I recvd meat & cheese thrown on a soft soggy garlic (if that was the flavor) bearly toasted bread. MISSING LETTUCE, TOMATO, MAYO & KETCHUP. Seriously. I know you close at 6. But you should be ready and willing to make or grill anything I want to order! I expect the same customer service as walking in at...

I'm not one to comment but very dissatisfied..have been on a diet for 2 months thought I would splurge and get an egg sandwich..bought 2 so issues were as follows..scrambled eggs were burnt brown..no milk added not good the sausage patty seemed like the cheese was cooked under it making it crispy strange texture..and either shell or dirt in sandwich hoping it was shell. Next one had bacon balled up in the center of it mind u this was 8am so it was chewy and obviously old not fresh and same issue either grit or shell needless to say I won't be back..speak with your chef that...

My son and I loved the egg sandwiches here but weirdly the last 2 times we’ve gotten them they seem different. Not sure if they got a new cook but my son doesn’t like them anymore :( stinks because they are right around the corner And I realllyyy Like the staff. The eggs are just drier and barley any cheese anymore. I hope they can fix it Bc I love coming here. Literally used to make the BEST egg sandwiches. I’m like... depressed...
