La Cucina Paisanos Pizzeria & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Let me start off by saying this place has amazing food. I live close by and my family orders their meals at least once a week. I recently had a family emergency where I had to cancel a delivery order I had placed and rush to the hospital. My father spoke to Nick who I am not sure is the manager or owner or just an amazing employee but they told my father not to worry and that they would keep the food warm and we could get it at any time. I ended up back home 5 minutes before closing assuming my food would be gone. They not only stayed open to allow me to get my food, but they very generously gave me extra pizzas to take home. Those pizzas will be my family's meals the next few days as we go through the experience of losing a family member, but Paisanos' act of kindness and generosity in a time of hardship for my family has garnered them a lifelong customer. Go there for the delicious food but stay for the amazing people, because when you get to know them they don't just treat you like family, you become family. My best friend and I decided to try out this new spot, and it’s safe to say we’ve found our new girls night hangout! We sat at the bar and immediately loved the atmosphere; great happy hour specials with beer, wine, martinis, and cocktails that made it easy to unwind and enjoy. We happened to come on pasta night, which was such a deal: salad, entrée, dessert, and coffee all included. I ordered the chicken marsala, and let me just say… the sauce was absolutely incredible, probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was full of flavor! What made the night even better was the people. From the bartender to the owner, everyone was warm, friendly, and made us feel so welcomed. It wasn’t just dinner; it was a genuinely enjoyable experience filled with conversation and great energy. We left already talking about when we’ll be back. Tonight was the first time we ordered from here. We have lived in Ronkonkoma for years and have tried just about EVERY pizzeria in the area. We have our go to that we love but we've said many times that we should try this place and I am glad that we did. When we called in the pie the person on the other end was nice and when we told them that it was our first time ordering he said we wouldn't be disappointed. We went with a regular pie and it was very good. There was no flop when we picked up a piece and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. First time in a long time that I ate 3 slices. We usually have enough leftovers for lunch the next day well, this time it looks like it's going to be a light lunch. 😋 We had it delivered and the guy who delivered wore a mask and was really nice.
