This place is my go-to for all things jewelry-related. Dave is a great guy and an incredibly knowledgeable jeweler who's always been happy to answer all of my questions. His assistant is very kind as well. Lots of great pieces on display and even more is available via special order. They also do the little things like repairing and cleaning.

I've spent the last year preparing for my engagement and wedding; North Shore Jewelers is where I've gone for my proposal ring, both of our wedding bands, and a few gifts (a chain, a ring box) in between. After several pleasant consultations with Dave, he was able to take the stones from an heirloom ring I had and place them onto a ring they had helped me pick out & order from one of their catalogues. It was beautiful and through the whole process Dave was honest about the cost (which was very reasonable). Later, he & his assistant helped my partner & I pick out custom wedding bands which he then engraved himself in-store. Both of us loved the results.

Very disappointed - just received phone call that rings and appraisal were ready only to get there and job was not done even though charges were on the bill. Rings were re-sized but not dipped in white gold as charged for and appraisal was missing information, like diamond color and needed to be corrected. Dave, the owner, was very helpful and polite when we stopped in to speak with him a couple months ago so we wanted to give him our business, but we're really not happy with the service including that from salesperson, Maryanne, who was not accommodating and almost confrontational when we brought the rings in, requiring us to ask to speak with Dave. Just got back a family heirloom, a Waltham pocket watch that belonged to my mother's uncle. The watch was made sometime in 1917 or 1918.
