Shoreham Nail Inc — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

I'm so beyond upset with my experience here. Out of all the times I have gotten my nails done, this is by far the most awful experience l've ever had. I attached two photos, one that I showed the lady doing my nails for inspiration, and then what I received. I would absolutely never go back here again, and I do not recommend this salon to anyone. I asked for acrylics, first she told me my nails are too small (I do understand that though) to do acrylics on, so I said okay. She did gel instead and the base color I asked for, there was none left. So I chose another color and she started doing that instead. When she was putting the tips on, she asked what length and I said "A little longer please", she didn't even respond and just cut them where SHE wanted to. When applying the polish I was asking her to do a few more coats because it was not dark enough and you could completely see through my nails. She was giving me an attitude, meanwhile she was constantly on the phone with people and speaking extremely loud. Her and the other workers would look at each other and then stare at me without looking away for a split second, THEY WEREN'T EVEN BLINKING? When doing the French I would ask her to please do another coat because it was smudged and just didn't look right. Also when doing the glitter I asked for she was just constantly giving me an attitude and disagreeing with me. I was scheduled to get a pedicure as well but at that point I was so done and just wanted to leave. Two hours after I got home, 3 nails already fell off!!! So disappointed....

Apparently, this place thinks they know everything about everything. Terrible experience for my wife. She's been going there for years, and the last 2 times were so bad that she'll never go back.

Below are 2 photos if nails for inspiration and the outcomes. The brown heart set they charged $100 for and the flower set they couldn't do, so she went with just dots. They tried to charge her $20 for just the dots on 1 nail that are asymmetrical and poorly done. The paint job is bad, the nail shape is bad. And they have the nerve to tell her no when she asked them to fix their glaring issues. Not only that, but the last 2 times the literally told her her "nails were an ugly shape"?! Please stay away from this place. They do a bad job and will charge you extra for it while making you feel bad...

Found out today how Nasty , disrespectful, n bullying that lady named “Lia” can be. How am I paying for the service n she is is telling me what i should wear ?… stating she knows me n what I want, after I have been in that facility only once, six weeks ago. I shall not set foot there again because today it was the worse pedicure n manicure I ever got since i have been doing my nails for over thirty years.. I am new in this area n choose that salon because of the reviews they got, what a shane ! Never been so...
