Awesome. Clean, very interactive, well put together and thoughtfully created space for kids to play and have fun! Rita, the owner, who was there the first time we came (for free-play) was very hospitable and gave us insight into how she set the rooms up. She clearly put a lot of thought into it all! During that same visit, my family decided we wanted to have our son's fourth birthday at Play a La Mode and that was a very, very good decision! Rita put everything together (when I say everything, I mean she asked us for the theme, how many kids and she did the rest). We walked in on the day of the party and the playroom was fully decked out. Music was pumping, but we were still able to talk to other adults very comfortably. The room is very safe, we had our 18 month old running around and felt comfortable giving her relatively free reign. Rita had a face painter there (something we didn't ask for, but was a HUGE hit!) she was very talented, polite and caring. There was a bubble machine showering one of the corners of the room with bubbles, that the kids obviously loved. There is enough space that a large group of four year old kids were playing together without being on top of each other. Rita prepared awesome Firetruck (our son's theme of choice) goodie boxes, which were definitely a step up from what we're accustomed to. When it was time to eat, we all went to a separate back room that was decked out! I wish I took more photos beforehand, because all of the pics I took have kids in them and I wouldn't feel comfortable posting them without the parents' permission. The room was beautifully decorated. Balloons, a huge table with a cake and ice cream, delicious pizza, a beautiful faux-grass photo wall with neon lights...multiple parents came up and told us that they thought it was a very successful party and thanked us for introducing them to the venue. Rita is awesome, she takes care of everything and is very hands on without being a bother. My wife called to tell her the theme and Rita already had invites ready to send and was totally on the ball. She's one of those people that you can tell has a solid head on her shoulders from one conversation. Even the flooring is made of these semi-soft large puzzle pieces (originally created for karate dojos) for safety and a cool aesthetic. Amazing space for a young child’s birthday party! Play a la Mode hosted our daughter’s fourth birthday and we couldn’t have been happier with the decision to have it here. The online booking platform is super simple, well designed and easy to use. As soon as I booked, Rita reached out to start planning. My daughter requested a Strawberry theme birthday and Rita truly took care of EVERYTHING- the decorations, the food, the cake, the favors - all with the most adorable strawberry accents in mind. We just literally had to ask the families to wear socks, sign the waivers and show up. It was SO EASY and everything looked amazing.

The space itself is so clean and all of the kids and parents loved it. Multiple parents kept commenting how great the space was and it was safe and contained so you could relax but still see the kids all at the same time.

I usually plan my daughters birthday parties with extreme detail but having just gave birth j didn’t have it in me this year. Trusting Play a La Mode to handle the party made my life so much easier and alleviated all of the stress. The strawberry picking favors Rita suggested and put out were such a hit and everyone left with smiles. We will definitely be back for open play dates and booking future parties while the kids are little.

Stop what you’re doing. And book the party. This is a clean, safe, ENGAGING play space for babies to young children to explore and have a blast. Rita and her staff are so warm, welcoming and accommodating. There are 3 tiers of party packages, I picked the second tier. This option affords you the luxury of simply giving Rita a theme, and a guest list and picking food. That’s all you have to do. And let me tell you it is decorated PERFECTLY. Like a Pinterest party! Ballon arches are included, back drop, picture taking wall, centerpieces, goodie bags, cakes ALL DONE FOR YOU. We opted to add on a face painter for an hour and upgraded our food ( which btw is catered by Mario’s and DELICIOUS) I also added on the duck donuts package and that was also color matched. my daughter was celebrating her 1st birthday and her theme was “sweet one” and I just sent a picture of our invitations and my daughters outfit and Rita executed this theme PERFECTLY to our colors. Another thing that I really appreciated was that if your child has allergies she can accommodate that as well. My little one had her very own dairy free smash cake .
