This pains me to write. I grew up buying furniture from here, and have stayed loyal well into being a home owner. Most of my furniture has come from here. We would typically ask them to order in a brand. When it came time to buy new bedroom sets for my children, we asked for their insight, because we didn't want Ashley for their rooms. We were advised that Innovations was a solid brand. Although I had never heard of them, I trusted the stores' input. We ordered a gray set for my son, and a white set for my daughter, in either late December 2023 or early 2024. When my son's bed was delivered, the bed frame had a horrible smell. It was so bad it spread throughout our entire home. The store did right by us, and replaced it. I did notice differences in texture in paint on spots, on both of their sets. Throughout the first year, those spots turned into cracks. If it were one set, I would give Innovations grace, and that perhaps it's an anomaly. It's both sets. They look terrible, particularly the white. You can see in the photos what I'm referring to with the different textures, that isn't just the wood grain. I'm not sure if it's the quality of paint they use, or were factory touch-ups, but it's unacceptable. While these weren't top of the line, I fully expect furniture to hold up more than a year. These look so bad that we will likely be replacing them within a year and a half of purchase. I can't even say this was due to kids being rough, because my daughter can't even reach the top of her tall dresser, and if you even so much as graze it with your fingernail, a crack forms. While I appreciate all Shirley Sleep Shoppe has done over the years, and customer service they have offered, after reading reviews on Innovations brand, there is a common theme. I'm disappointed how I'm being treated now, I originally waited over 6 months for my furniture to come in stock, I get it, covid and it's Ashley's fault not theirs, when my furniture came some was damaged, I still was understanding and knew it wasnt their fault, the repair men came to try their best to fix it, however it isn't fixable now I'm waiting months once again with broken and damaged furniture, I get told they can't rush Ashley and make them go faster, I get that, however how is this fair for the customer???!!! Do something for your long time customer. Over 2,000$ in furniture a year out and I'm still here waiting......and now getting...
Read moreThis place is way better than your commercial chain mattress places. We were skeptical at 1st because the outside looked iffy. But on the inside was really nice and the gentleman that helped us was excellent. Perfect customer service. Knew what he was doing. He gave us a great deal on a mattress. Had it delivered a few days later. Their delivery guy was very nice and we paid him cash. They went above and beyond for us and we are very happy. Whenever we move and get beds for our kids, we will definitely come back....
