ALDI — Local services in Town of Canandaigua

Aldi is always my first stop for groceries, and then I go to the other big store to get whatever wasn't available first at Aldi. This Aldi is about what you'd expect if you've been to one before, but I frequent several different Aldis, and this one has especially friendly and competent staff. It's always clean, normally pretty well-stocked, and somehow they even manage to keep expanding their product lines!

I will also say I'm impressed with their produce offerings - I believe the quality and selection has been steadily improving over the last few years and now I'm telling even the "produce and meat snobs" who felt the quality might be below them to give them another try. Plus, if you ever have an issue, you can bring the item back and they'll refund it AND provide you a replacement! (I've never done this, but I've seen a number of people doing it, and the staff gives them NO trouble about it)

Overall, this is my main Aldi I go to, and Aldi is the place where about 80% of our grocery money goes each month. Highly recommend - if you haven't tried in awhile, check them out and if you never have (I STILL can't get my father-in-law to try them), then stop in. I bet you'll be...

I had the worst experience at the Canandaigua NY Aldi location ever. I was told by a cashier “its an inconvenience for me to wait for you to unload your belt for you to keep your cart” I have a baby and in the past other cashiers have offered and when I’ve asked in the past I had not problem.
