Finger Lakes Public House — Restaurant in Town of Canandaigua

We had traveled to Clifton Springs an hour and fifteen minutes away to get chicks and decided to get lunch/dinner. Found this hidden GEM of a place. We were expecting ok food, but instead got AMAZING food and AMAZING service. Alissa was exceptional and went above and beyond to meet our needs. She was super friendly and made our meal enjoyable. Their homemade sauces were superb and my family of 4 were floored at how delicious the food was. I got the Pesto burger and was unsure at first (Alissa helped in my decision making) , but all the flavors melded so well together. My hubs got the pulled pork burger, his mom got the Reuben, and our 12 year old picky kid cleaned her plate of clarkys twisted burger. We were all full and satisfied and plan on making a special trip regularly to get this delicious food. If you're on the fence, just go! There's something for everyone. Best meal out that we've had in a long time. Oh! And try their peanut butter and jelly cider. Sounds weird, but...

I stopped by Finger Lakes Public House in Canandaigua, NY, and had such an awesome experience! First off, the Red Garlic Parm wings were unreal crispy, flavorful, and just the right mix of garlic and parmesan. Easily some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time.

A big shoutout to Bre, the bartender, who was super friendly and had the cutest smile. She recommended the wings, and wow, she nailed it! She made the whole experience even better with her great vibe and awesome service.

And then there’s Nate, the owner, this guy knows how to run a place! He personally came over to check on us, which was such a nice touch. You can tell he really cares about the customers and the experience.

The whole place just has a great vibe cool atmosphere, super friendly staff, and great food. I’ll definitely be coming back for more wings...

Amazing food! Friendly staff and owner! First let me start by saying my boyfriend and I are in the area for Valentine's Day, we went to check into our Airbnb to find the last people took the key home with them and the owner was unable to contact a locksmith for us so they refunded our stay, while waiting for another Airbnb, we chose to stop at this restaurant down the road. The first 5 minutes we are in the owner of the restaurant and our waiter were helping us get another Airbnb! This was an amazing experience in a stressful time! The staff, owner, and chef were checking in on us periodically and cracking jokes. The owner walked around with a bunch of individual roses for all the customers!
