I placed an order on the app and went to pick it up at drive thru. Sat at the drive thru speaker for about five minutes without anyone saying anything. When someone finally spoke at the drive thru line, when I mentioned I had a mobile order, they said they were working on it. I thought this was strange because at this point it has been almost 30 minutes since I placed the order. They said to go to the second window and they will bring it out when it is done. Seven minutes pass without anyone coming so I went back to the first drive thru window. The person said it would be another 3 minutes. Five minutes pass and I go back to the drive thru window again. Instead of apologizing, the guy says that it will be ANOTHER two minutes more. He didn’t apologize and said “there’s nothing I can do. what can I do?” He suggested that I just cancel my order and that I can’t wait at the window since the food isn’t ready. I asked him if he is sure it would take just two minutes and said that it would. But it was a lie and after five minutes I went back to the window again. By this time it was close to 50 minutes since I have placed the order (I checked my receipt of when the order was placed). They finally bring my order and again no apologies. And when I got the order one of the red beans and rice didn’t even have red beans in it! This is the worst experience ever. The staff doesn’t care. I am never going back to this Popeyes and honestly it makes me think very lowly of the Popeyes brand if this is how they treat customers. They weren’t even busy. There was only one person in the checkout line the whole time I was there. I have had much better experience at other restaurants when food was late but they actually checked up on me when the food was late or kept me up to date when the food wasn’t ready when they said it would be. Read moreI went through the drive-through and ordered a two-piece all white spicy chicken combo with Cajun fries and a drink. The person repeated it back and said spicy chicken combo to which I replied, “ all white meat please!” I pulled up to the window, and I asked the girl if it was all white meat and she admitted she didn’t know the difference. She asked the gentleman who I assume was possibly a manager if it was all white and he looked at the receipt and told her white meat was The wing. He replied yes it’s all white meat. I gave him The benefit of the doubt, even though the receipt said differently because for some reason all Popeyes put leg and thigh and their receipts even when ordering white meat. I got to my destination, pulled out my food and it was dark meat. I truly hate dark meat, but I was so hungry. I decided to eat it. I picked up the leg and it broke right at the bone because it was so overcooked. I understand this restaurant is new and still trying to figure out all the kinks but one of the main things is listening. If you don’t understand something ask. Also not sure who the gentleman was that I believe was a manager, but He along with the others should really know the difference between dark meat and white meat. Read moreWe ordered from Popeyes around 9 PM and were told to park. There was already another customer waiting, and after about 5 minutes they went inside to find out their food was ready, even though no one had told them. We decided to wait another 10 minutes before going in ourselves.
When we asked about our order, the workers seemed confused until we showed them the receipt. After waiting another 5 minutes, they finally told us they had burned the chicken and had no more left. We requested a refund, and one of the workers told us to give him two minutes to get help with it, we ended up waiting another 15 minutes just to get that refund.
Since we arrived, we also watched several other people get sent to the parking lot, only to eventually walk inside after waiting ridiculous amounts of time, just to find their food still wasn’t ready. On top of that, one of the other customers who had been waiting forever finally got their food, only to discover their order was wrong.
All in all, we were stuck there for about 45 minutes or more, and ended up going to KFC afterwards. I’m writing this review after finally getting that refund. This whole experience was unacceptable. The staff clearly need retraining or help managing even the...
