My husband has gone here for weddings heâs been in and had good experiences so we decided to use them for our wedding. A couple weeks before our wedding we heard nothing and we called several times and they just kept telling us theyâll call us when the suits arrive. 10 days before the wedding they inform us that my husbandâs suit vest and pants arrived but his suit coat is stuck on a shipping container and wonât arrive in time. He needed extra long and luckily they could alter a long coat to fit. Had that not worked he would have had to change colors which would have been even more frustrating. At this point all but two suits were in. They were promised that Thursday but of course nobody received a call Thursday. The suits were there Friday. When the people whose suits just arrived on Friday went in, they were informed that the pants were a slightly different color gray from the suit coat and everyone elseâs suits. Instead of directly informing us, they asked the groomâs father to let us know. One suit coat ended up coming in on time while the other groomsman had to have a suit coat altered to fit him that was two sizes too big. Flash forward to the Friday before the wedding, two of the groomsmen are waiting to hear that their suits are altered and ready to be picked up. By 3pm they had heard nothing and decided to head in before the shop closed at 6pm. When they brought the suits home we began to notice that each groomsmenâs suit was not all the same. Some had 3 buttons, some had 4, some of the buttons looked different, some had different lining, etc. None of this was communicated to us and each suit was supposed to be identical. When we called they said thereâs nothing they can do at that point. They did offer that people could return the suits for a full refund after the wedding but the whole reason we went with this shop was so the guys could own a nice suit after the fact. While Joe was kind and apologetic throughout the whole situation, it was still extremely stressful to deal with so close to the wedding. On top of all this, my father who got a suit there, went earlier than the rest of the group. He was upsold a suit not realizing he could have gotten the cheaper one to match all the men. He paid in full for his suit ahead of time and was promised it in July. A couple months went by and he didnât get his suit until September. Every time he called they just kind of blew him off as if he wasnât a priority at the moment. Several members of our wedding party also had complaints about dealing with the woman they spoke to when they called. Communication needs serious...
Read moreStaff accommodated me with short notice, and shortly before closing. Was successfully able to select a really nice suit, be measured up for tailoring, buy shoes and a shirt, plus a tie , all withina half hour. Special thanks to the staff!
Update: I needed to refresh the wardrobe with great quality men's clothing. Shopping at Riverside Men's was a great experience, again! Sure, you will spend more. In addition to quality items, the staff makes the experience personal. No searching for help. Attention to detail and guidance reduced wasted time going from store to store with other outlets. Riverside Men's had my size, and even had my new slacks hemmed on the spot. If I loose 15 lbs, they can tailor and extend the life of the slacks and jacket. I'm definitely a...
Read moreI purchased a new suit and shirt for my son here. The gentleman who fitted him was great. After one wear, the shirt rips on the button side. I take the shirt back and the owner treats me suspiciously right out of the gate. She informs me that certainly my son must have pulled the shirt on over his head or misused it in some way. She offered to sell me another shirt at half price. And she was surly about it. My family has been in business for years and would never treat a customer that way. I will never go back there. Their Christian music offered quite the soundtrack for their nastiness, too.
