Demure Lyfe — Local services in Town of Chester

So, (The Lesson) when the calling of souls come to order.....you are greeted with absolute grace. I met Sienna years ago when she 1st open her store. I was just a curious customer then, in total awe of what she was introducing to the community, a New Age approach to life with a sweet urban cultural twist, checking out what now has become Chester's hidden medicine's cabinet for the enlightened student. I can go on about the store, but would rather you see for yourself (its very personal for everyone, your search is your treasure).

Sadly, with all the craziness going on over the years there was a long pause in my return till I ran into Sienna by accident afterhours on Main Street about a week ago. I took to her energy in passing, enough to make a mental note to make a stop at her store the next time I was in town. I was so glad I did, today actually.

Let me just say that it is very hard not to click with Sienna's vibe, it is not so much that she is the owner of Demure Lyfe, it is her transparent soul of absolute purity (she just gets you if you allow her to enter). I can tell you, it was like running into an old friend, she pointed out a few things to me that she saw/felt and needed to share (yes, it was that real, because free space is what you walk into if you allow it). We shared some stories that actually got me emotional (I was so embarrassed, and she was kind with lending me her ears). I did not walk into her store to get open and personal, this happened while I was touching candles, reading books, smelling incense, looking at oracle cards and exchanging beautiful conversation that just led to the next best thing.

Yes, I purchased a few much needed trinkets and not because I felt obligated in doing so. My experience was so refreshing, my greatest purchase was actually free of charge, it was a cleansed heart and I felt like a made a new friend/teacher in Sienna.

Of course everyone's experience will not be a one size fits all....walk with the shoes, walk into Demure Lyfe and let Sienna untie those tight laces.

I happened upon this shop as I was meeting friends for dinner next door. As I walked past, a lady gave me the nicest smile from the window. I couldn’t wait to finish dinner & visit the shop. When I walked in, I immediately felt the peace & calm enveloping the space. As I looked around, I took note of the herbs, tinctures & candles carefully displayed. And, to my extreme excitement, noticeably absent was the mass produced, over stocked, dusty tchotchkes and “spells in a kit” hanging on racks. THIS WAS THE REAL DEAL!!! I was approached by Sienna, the owner, offering help if needed. I must note, Sienna was not the lady in the window. This is important because clearly the others associated with Sienna are just as kind as she is. When I explained what I was looking for, she made wonderful suggestions down to every detail without making me feel stupid (I’m a bit rusty on certain work!)
