Meadow Blues is one of the very few venues in Orange County that has local or regional musicians playing original music- not your typical cover bands! It’s refreshing to have such a venue in this area situated in the heart of the black dirt farming region. It is one of the few venues that has an indoor and outdoor stage. Meadow Blues not only offers stellar coffee drinks but also provides and supports local/regional craft brewers and distilleries. Also, the food is made fresh. I am disappointed in seeing the review from today from a so called “local guide” as I believe his review is mis-guided. I was in attendance today and was one of the individuals that responded to the fallen musician. Having training in CPR, First Aide and Response, I had asked a few simple questions, and based on the responses and my personal observations, it was clear that the gentleman did not pass out because he was playing on an outside stage (under a canopy) but rather he had other complications that played into his situation. I think it is irresponsible for the “local guide” reviewer to insinuate that the manager/owner had done anything wrong to facilitate this unfortunate outcome. In fact, the quick response from the staff contributed to the individuals...
Read moreWith the second time of coming here, Meadow Blues Coffee is a welcoming cafe. The owner and her daughter were diligent and pleasant to talk to. Today we had a sausage and egg sandwich on an English Muffin. My sister had the ham breakfast sandwich. As for drinks, she had the hot chocolate while I had the "Momma Morgan's Mocha Latte." The food was fresh and hit the spot. As for the drinks, both were rich with chocolate flavor. If you love coffee, then you'd love "Momma Morgan's Mocha" which includes a delightful caramel taste.
Additionally, we were given a flyer for an upcoming event- On December 4th, they will have a performance from two musician's. There's a suggested donation of 10 dollars but the price is reasonable to enjoy music, food, and craft spirits. If interested, then give them a call to receive more details.
The overall mood of the cafe is relaxing. There are no overbearing lights. Also, you will be greeted with calming but catchy music. Overall, coming to the Meadow Blues Cafe is worthwhile- whether you prefer to sit in or take your...

Visiting town after being away for many years. Strolled around to see what’s changed and support local business. Grabbed a coffee at another local shop and walked down to MB after hearing it was a cool place hosting some of my friend’s artwork.
Upon walking inside the owner gave the gentleman she was speaking to eye rolls towards us, “tsks”, and sighs. After walking past us three times we got a pretty unwelcome verbal greeting.
Granted we were holding another shops coffees in our hand, but it’s not like we walked there to show it off.
After ordering food I was sternly asked how the other shop’s coffee was, and when I attempted to lighten the situation with a complement about the food I was quickly corrected that they also have good coffee... there’s additional petty details, but I think you get the jist.
To give some credit the food was stellar, and when she learned we were “tourists” the tone quickly changed, but way too late to salvage...
