I'd like to rate the Wolf Road Hobby Lobby higher, but I can't. What good is a supposed sale if the staff can't get the transaction right and mark the purchased yardage at the correct sale price? Plus there is no service desk, so you have to wait in long register lines to conduct any kind of refund transaction. Literally each of the three times I have gone there for fabric, the person staffing that department has not paid attention to what they were doing. God forbid you buy more than one bit of yardage because without fail they will get at least two out of the three prices wrong. Then you have to catch the error, point it out to them, try to get it corrected, then they will make a second or possibly even third mistake. Also, if you don't catch it in time and walk away, then you have to go back to the department and the sales rep has mysteriously vanished. So you have to hunt for someone to assist you and then explain "your" problem, (their mistake!) and it takes a long time to get them to comprehend what the issue is. Aaarrggghh! The last time it happened, I caught the first mistake, but didn't catch her making the second & third errors when she was supposedly fixing the first. I discovered it when I went to check out. At that point, I'd just had it. I rolled my eyes and just tossed all the fabric I'd intended to buy onto a nearby shelf. I was tired and frustrated and didn't feel like wasting more time and walking all the way back to the fabric department for the idiot to only mess it up again. Because of these repeated annoying and poor customer service experiences I probably only visit the store twice a year now, and I never buy fabric there anymore. It's just not worth the...
Read moreStore was nearly empty with just a few customers. No help to be found on sales floor. Not one register light was on, but the cashier who was doing the garbage pointed and said "over there" to the next checkout. Uhm... Okaaaaay. Not another syllable uttered until she said "card declined" and nothing else. Eye roll and a Huff later, she took the cash and handed me the change and then walked off. My card was "declined" because she had entered it as a credit card sale, not because my ATM card wasn't working. (Yes, I called the bank to make sure.) I am sick & tired of being treated like an inconvenience when I go to this store. I'm sure I'm not the only person to feel that way. Easier and more acceptable customer service to...
