Idlewild Creek Apartments — Local services in Town of Cornwall

Are you kidding?!?! The request was from January. Now, it was "repaired"  3 months later! Must have been the easiest fix the handyman ever did! I had it drained and repaired after waiting 2 weeks for contact. I should have been notified about it prior to anyone making entry today. Just a completely unacceptable amount of time to address an issue. How about a 4 months wait for a dishwasher? Or leaving whatever is growing inside the non-functioning dishwasher! And all the other issues noted on the inspection move in form... From missing light bulbs in fixtures to mold growing on wet sheetrock in the garage. Not to mention the lack of weather stripping and holes/ rips in screens. The lack of a toeboard and missing linoleum pieces that need to be glued on. Also, holes in the siding where small animals scurry in and out of.. Let's address the railing issue, could be considered dangerous,, when I mentioned it, a smirk was my answer. Very sad that the smallest upkeep could make it a decent place, but it's not taken care of at all. Thanks for making the repair today that was repaired...

I recently moved into my garden apartment from the main building. This apartment came with a new stove and refrigerator. A few weeks after receiving this new refrigerator it malfunction and the contents spoiled. I reported this problem to the management ( Fred and Trish). Twenty minutes later Rob the Maintence supervisor and Anderson arrived and inspected the refrigerator. Rob found that the compressor failed. Approximately fifteen minutes later. Rob and Anderson returned with a replacement refrigerator to use while the new refrigerator was sent for repair. A few weeks later Rob and Anderson returned to my apartment with my original refrigerator. The service I received from management and maintenance was outstanding. I could not have been back in service as quickly as i was if i had this problem in my own home. Once again I am very fortunate to have found this...

I just joined this senior housing community and the reception here has been just exceptional! Building representatives Tricia and Fred were very welcoming, polite and accommodating. Custodial staffers Anderson and Robert went out of their way to see that I was comfortable and properly settled in to my new apartment! I’ve always loved and desired to move to Cornwall so idlewild creek apartments were a fortunate find for me at the perfect time! Although the parking situation can be a bit challenging I absolutely love my new apartment, my generously sized terrace/patio for displaying all my beautiful plants and the calm, clean surroundings I’ve discovered at Idlewild Creek apartments!
