As newlyweds we decided to get a quality mattress to start our new chapter in life. We had just bought our second home which is about 20 minutes from Cortlandville. This was the first time for us buying a mattress in person... so we weren't sure what to expect as we did not want to be pressured by a salesman. We were greeted right away and was told to take a look around and they were there to answer any questions if we had any... which was nice... I hate having a salesman follow me around, I hate pressure. After exploring the store on our own we had a few mattresses in mind.... so we had questions. Jaime answered all of our questions (very friendly and knowledgeable). He talked to us about pros and cons and gave us other customer feedback on the few that we had in mind which lead us to buy the Tempur Adapt M Hybird. The delivery and setup was fast. The first night on our new mattress was amazing... and the past week has been a life changer for my bad back! We had a great experience all round at the Cortlandville location. If you are looking for a mattress and want a no pressure shopping experience We both highly recommend checking them...

Spent $3k on a mattress, an adjustable bed frame and brackets for mounting to a headboard. Mattress itself is good however, the bed frame showed up with tears in it and I didn’t need the brackets that I purchased to mount to my existing headboard.

When I contacted the sales rep who sold us the set, I was told that there is nothing that can be done about the brackets because it was something we purchased.

A warranty process was started due to the tears in the bed frame and I had said I would rather just get some percentage off the overall price and keep the bed frame with the tears because they are hidden in my existing bed frame. I was told that there is nothing that can be done other than a lengthy process of dealing with warranty and getting a new bed frame delivered which inevitably would mean someone has to take time off from work to wait for a delivery - again.

I asked if I could return everything and go somewhere else and I was told all sales are final - beware when you initial that part of the agreement.

OK. So this review won't be different than all the other 5 star reviews for Mattress Express of Cortland. Brandy helped my wife and me choose a new mattress. It was a good experience and we bought what was the right mattress for us. I had done some research on Tempurpedic, Sealy, and Beauty rest so I had many questions. Brandy was patient and very helpful. We bought a mattress cover and two tempurpedic pillows. I had to modify our delivery time and the customer service was excellent. Amanda listened to me on the phone and the delivery was changed to our convenience. The delivery men were courteous and respectful of our home and answered all of my questions. What I liked about this purchase was that during and after the sale, the people I dealt with acted like we were important and were very helpful. Just because they had my money, they didn't act like they didn't care anymore. We received quality merchandise with excellent service.
