What a truly lovely experience! I came to this shop due to the EXCELLENT reviews and was not disappointed in the slightest, even when it turned out that they couldn't help me! My love had gotten me a ring that came from a shop in California, but ordered from Etsy. Unfortunately, my beautiful ring is just a wee bit too big on my quite tiny fingers! I walked in and was immediately greeted by one of their lovely staff members, she stayed with us through our entire brief exchange. She took a look at my ring and heard out my concerns about sizing it down. She took out the right tools to check the sizing on my ring (which actually turned out to be larger than what the seller said we had purchased), then took out simple sizing rings to check the size that I would need. 4 was too tight, 4 1/4 was just right! The ring we had purchased was a bit bigger than the 4 1/2 we thought we were sold. The lovely employee went over their quickly their standard option of about 10-14 business days to resize or a ring, or suggested that if I wanted my ring back sooner that I could pay an additional and small fee to have my ring returned within a few days, to a week. She then took my ring to the back to ask if the resizing could be done for us. She came back only a few moments later and said that she'd had some bad news. Due to the plating on parts of my ring, they could not safely resize my ring without potentially damaging the plating. She stated that all in a very simple and very polite manner, and then offered a quick solution. For no charge whatsoever, I was given a clear spiraled ring sizer that she wrapped onto my ring and cut down to size, and voilà! It brought me to a perfect fitting ring. Not a permanent fix, no, but she had also stated that when warmer weather arrives again, the ring may then fit just fine. Overall, thrilled with the kindness and quickness of the entire exchange. I’ve been to Tom twice now, one to fix a broken necklace and now to get my engagement ring fixed up- it is an old family ring and I took it “for a checkup” right away. Tom was so patient and thorough explaining my options with such an old worn out ring (the prongs were worn to wafer thin, he showed me in the magnifying glass). I don’t know anything about jewelry but he treated me with respect and kindness and really took the time to explain everything. After some talk, I asked his expert jewelers to re tip the prongs (I now know what that means:) ). They did such a beautiful job at a completely reasonable price. I am blown away and feel secure wearing it. I teared up when Tom handed it to me today!!

I brought my bracelet to Jewelry on James to be repaired several times and because this bracelet meant so much to me, Jackie did a wonderful job both with me and my bracelet ❤️ the bracelet wasn't worth a whole lot but it has sentimental value to me. The staff helped me a few more times for repair and I love how personable they all are.
