Sony and this company work together when Sony products have issues. I have a defective subwoofer (issues began immediately out of box) that make a loud sound randomly every day or so out of nowhere. Of course they tell me nothing is wrong with it and are mailing it back. Both Sony and this repair company do not trust their loyal customers.
Why would I spend the time and money to mail you a subwoofer and speaker (and not have it for Super Bowl) if it wasn’t defective . It’s a $300 set from Sam’s. Never again will I buy a sony product.
Also they did a terrible job communicating with eachother. I had to be the mediator between the Sony rep and United. “We sent them an email already, tell them to refer to emails”.
If I were to say anything good, United sent me boxes and also were pretty timely with communication with me. And mailed it back in very protected shipping. However they didn’t do their due diligence in inspecting the unit and listening for the loud base issue with the subwoofer which happens randomly over a few days time. Very disappointed. They called me after doing a quick not thorough test and said they couldn’t replicate the issue.
Sony needs to own up and stop putting these decisions on United. If their product...
Read morei sent a denon heos bar for repair that was power cycling when it decided to turn on. they told me the repair would be 250 after sending me a card telling me they couldn't find the authorization form when it was attached to the shipping label but that is neither here nor there, they even mailed back the form they "could not locate" with my product. after all was said and done they had my item for a month. i thought it was working fine when i first turned it on but a week later the same problem persisted. i contacted them twice in order to find a solution and each time i was told i was going to be called back and never got any communication in return. a month and a half later and i haven't got as much as an email following up. workmanship is spotty and their "customer service" is atrocious. will be opening case with BBB and reporting...
Read moreThe quality of United Radio's technical capability and overall customer service is terrible. I was directed to return my radio to them for warranty repair by the manufacturer. They quickly diagnosed it and said that they needed to order parts. However, after 2 more weeks, they then decided that it wasn't under warranty and asked for payment that was more than the radio was worth. When I told them to just return it to me, they said they wouldn't return it unless I paid their inflated "shipping & handling" fee.
