On Valentine’s Day I was in search for a gold dipped rose an id searched about 8-9 stores already and about to try the last one before I rethought my gift idea. I called Henry Wilson Jewelers the sec I woke up on V day in hopes to get a early start on finding the rose before my gf got outta work ….it was around 930am an I didn’t even look at the time they opened at an just called and after speaking with a gentleman at 930 I found out they had 2 left so I asked that he pull it aside for me an id be there in 15-20 mins…he then told me they didn’t open til 10am (who answers a biz phone before hours of operation I thought to myself…. Not me!!) so I waited a few an went in. Upon getting there I was greeted very nicely walking in an it was like they new it was me before I said anything an yes there was already ppl in the store. Then Rowan took over an was super nice an helpful. She showed me the rose they kept for me to the side an was about to cash me out when I asked if there was something to put over the name of what was in the box an she immediately asked if I’d like it wrapped in gift paper an promptly did so! She also gave me a card to go with it. We had a nice conversation about when they will have more of these roses so I could get more in the future. Everyone in this facility was beyond super friendly an helpful that it literally blew my mind….I had already been in several stores an never got the attention I got when coming here. I can not say enough good words to explain the level of customer care I experienced here an I will DEFINITELY make this my first stop from now on! Great ppl, great store with great prices!! Best place to search for engagement rings in central NY! I stopped in to check out engagement rings after looking at numerous large, corporate jeweler stores throughout the northeast. This would be the last time I checked out another jeweler. A Henry Wilson employee (Bob F.) worked with me from the start, showing me numerous styles and price ranges (often showing me rings that were below my budget but matched my criteria). Although I live 5 hours away in Pittsburgh, I came back 3 times, spending an average of 1-2 hours per visit with him (and he never rushed me). When I was given the quote for the diamond I thought was perfect, I looked online for days for similar diamonds, even those with much less quality bands, no websites could match or beat the price for the quality and size of rock form Henry Wilson's. In the end, he created an excellent quality custom ring for me which my fiance won't stop looking at and people who know us won't stop giving us compliments about. I still continue to go to Henry Wilson and see Bob when I come back to Syracuse to see my family. The ring is guaranteed for life and they clean it for free and inspect it every time I stop in. She spent so much time helping us to find the perfect replacement ring and accommodated our every need.
