The owners are very friendly and helpful, even if you are just browsing. I WAS just browsing, but just before I was planning to leave and come back when I had money to spend, I actually found something that was the perfect gift for a special person! I bought it and as I was leaving they gave me a sample of their mixed berry topping that they make.to take with me. I didn't try it right away, but when I did it was sooo delicious. I actually use it more for toast or bread. The ingredients are amazing and actually good for you (no high fructose corn syrup!). I definitely will return and highly recommend...

Delighted to have made it to Specc's on Saturday when we were in town. Picked up a vanilla&caramel and a coconut&chocolate fudge, along with a small bag of dark chocolate hearts. Yum! The fudge is beautifully presented, and easy to slice which makes it great for sharing (you mightn't want to though!) I especially love the flavour of my dark chocolate bites. The kind and helpful gentleman behind the counter walked me through growing the seeds in a gift card I bought. Loads of other cute knick knacks...

The new truffles are awesome. Chocolate ganache - OMG. The service is awesome and the staff at Specc's will create to your need - including an experimental try with Sunflower Lecithin. I tolerate that much better than Soy Lecithin. I gifted the Amaretto Truffles (dark chocolate) to a friend and them deemed the awesome - best in this area. We are hooked.
